Our reviews had over 56 million views in the last 12 months. We do not get paid we just love to eat and have fun. We really love Match 65. OMG WENT 3 MORE TIMES, ALL WERE AWESOME. MARCIA WAS OUR SERVER AND SHE WAS GREAT. HAD THE MUSSELS BUT WE CHANGED THE SAUCE TO TOMATOES AND THEY ACCOMDATED ME. OMG WERE THEY AWESOME. (THEY SAID THEY CANNOT DO THIS WHEN BUSY BUT IT AS 9 PM SO IT WAS OK, VERY NICE). MARIA HAD THE BURGER AND LOVED IT. MUST HAVE THE SALMON TARTARE EVERY VISIT AND ALWAY GET THE SOUPS. ALL ARE VEGAN, ALL ARE PUREE AND ALL ARE WONDERFUL. MET THE OWNER AND SHE WAS GREAT. MADE SURE EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT. 2 more visits. Perfect every time. 1st class Great French food perfect for foodies. Be sure to get the various crepes for dessert (see photo of them on fire!!!), mushroom ravioli is superb, steak tare tare and salmon tare tare are awesome. Loved the daily soup every time we ate there. Perfect spot for romantic date. Get a reservation for sure. photos also include French onion soup and mozzarella and tomatoes. Okay food, not okay service. My family and I went here for a low key graduation dinner. Upon arriving they were very nice and accommodating to my Mom who needed a place to sit. Unfortunately, this is where the great service ended. After placing our order we waited a full hour for our food to arrive (a few soups came out earlier). They also completely forgot about the glass of wine my Dad ordered. The table next to us arrived after us and got and ate their food before ours came out (about the same size party). We hoped that things would get better but other than the waiter saying he was going to check on our food there was zero acknowledgment of the slow service until it was time to pay the bill. The waiter informed us that the manager “was thinking about giving us a free dessert” but didn’t say why or for what reason. At that point we were far from interested, so we passed. It just wasn’t a good experience and we all wanted to go home.

In terms of the food - we had the chicken, steak, trout, French onion soup, and the asparagus soup. The soups were the highlight and I thought the chicken was good. We all agreed that the food was decent, but not great. The fries are basic and not what I would expect from a quality French, bistro style, restaurant. I read a few reviews that complained about the price point, but it’s NYC so it’s to be expected. Had the service and food been better it would be a good value for the money. My girlfriend and I, both Asian, decided to embark on a lunchtime escapade with our precious little angels. With two adorable 3.5 yo daughters in tow, we requested a table outside, considering the inconvenience our strollers might pose to the patrons inside. The manager looked at us and immediately declined our humble request, without any explanation beside “we don’t have any space.” Needless to say the place was mostly empty outside.

I dared to persist and offered to fold our strollers if this was an issue. After a short back and forth, the manager gave up and decided to display a grand show of hospitality by unceremoniously placing our folded strollers next to the trash on the sidewalk and sitting us at the most sunny table, probably to work on our daughters’ suntan for the summer. Such impeccable taste!

Lo and behold, a few moments later, a white couple shows up and waltz into the the restaurant with their (unfolded) stroller greeted by a smiling manager. Interesting decision-making process!
