Today, at The Arsenal Public Restroom, I was denied a public bathroom access with my 10lb service dog. I was told to “leave him outside”.
He is not just a pet. All Service and ESA animals consider to be a “medical tool” by a federal and state law. And denying them is discriminatory. I have necessary documents with me. I fly with him, I go everywhere with him. But apparently I can’t use PUBLIC restroom.
I was alone, I couldn’t leave my dog with a friend. I would have to leave him outside where he could be taken.
