Not far from the Central Park Zoo you can find the quaint Delacorte clock. The clock contains representations of animals playing instruments, and plays music every half hour, at 0 and 30 minutes past the hour, between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. My son was keen to see this and take both photos and a short video. He remembers the cartoon version of this clock from the film "Madagascar" and was so pleased to see the real thing.
As we waited for the next "performance" at the top of the hour we were surprised to see so many people walking under the clock without ever seeming to notice it....
