I was running late and had to go and get my lunch for today so I stopped in the store asked whether or not they made fresh salads I was told no. I don't know why a store this big cannot make fresh salads prepared as a customer waits. However the person at the deli directed me to go to the refrigerator which had freshly made salads. I really was hesitant about it because sometimes salad in the refrigerator for a long period of time and of course now takes on the flavor of the plastic or the vegetables begin to welter. To my surprise this was not the case. So I look to see what would definitely be something I would eat and I came across the chicken salad. I looked at the meat I looked at the lettuce and I was happy I looked at the price I was disappointed this is probably average what one should pay for a salad with inflation and everything else wrapped up in the bill however it really is expensive. Nonetheless I bought it and I bought a sandwich for my dinner because the salad was supposed to be for my lunch. The salad was absolutely fresh and I appreciate that. The sandwich which was a wrap the dough was not soft it was very mushy and I did not appreciate that. I won't buy a a rap from them again only because it sits in the refrigerator and the wrap takes on a different texture after sitting in the refrigerator for so long. However the meat and it was fresh and the ingredients. I like that the aisles and the store appear to be very clean and that customer service was good. At the time when I made my purchase they had approximately four cashier's and the most of a line came from two people at each register. So I was in and out would not a problem. Normally I bring my own lunch but in case I should happen to forget or I'm running late yes I would stop back here and get another salad. But you guys should really consider making salads because sometimes I might just want a vegetable salad...
Read moreI always go there as it’s my local store. I bought boneless pork, which had bones, and the meat was barely there. It was annoying, but more than that, I needed to let them know to correct their mistake. So I called them and got connected to a manager named Raul. He heard me and said, “Ok.” He paused and said “What do you want?” It left me speechless—no apologies or guidance for a customer. Oh right, he added “SsoorRyyy”
“Bring it in. What do you want? I don’t know! Take another one! What do you want? Money back? Show me then!”
This was the answer I got. Of course, I’m not going back for less than $5 pork. Talking to this brainless service is not worth my time and embarrassment. But I will stop returning to this store forever, although they still wouldn’t care about the customer service for...
Read moreThis product does not have expiration date; AVOID purchasing it. I just bought one from C-Town store at 40-12 28th Ave and realized that the pickles are not in good condition and not eatable. Store's management refused to take responsibility and reimburse my money or even investigate the quality of the product and address my concern just because I did't keep the receipt in my possession. The product bar code and may credit card payment should be sufficient enough to prove that the product was purchased from this store but the management did not want to accept any accountability. I feel the manager did not care about the quality of the products, source of the issue, lack of expiration date on the product, or a good costumer service and he was just seeking an excuse to keep my...
