I had a wonderful experience in my A1.1 beginners class at Deutsches Haus. I appreciate that our teacher, Sybille, emphasized the importance of conversation and speaking the language out loud, which is too often missing from language classes elsewhere. At the same time, we also focused on grammar and constructing sentences correctly. My classmates were from all over the world: Lithuania, China, Brazil, England, etc., and had various reasons for learning German, so all of this diversity enhanced our collective learning.
