First of all, I just wanna say that Downstein is alright. Nothing special, not my go-to dining hall. That's all. This is a review primarily for Upstein, where I often make Grubhub orders to pick up!
Usually when they mess up my order at Upstein, I chalk it up to a bad day. Yes, their food quality is inconsistent. Yes, they almost always forget the sides. Yes, sometimes the way they put together your order is slightly messy. Whenever stuff like this happens, I just think, maybe they had a bad day and that's all! I've been ordering Upstein for the entire semester and I can look past these little things and the inconsistencies. But isn't this a bit much? My entire order was drenched in sauce and I had to wipe everything down, hence the napkins under the top and bottom of the order. I mean, the box wasn't even closed. Read moreIt has really great food selection. The omlette line is a beast but totally.worth is and you can also get french toast. I can easily gain 15 pounds eating here even with all the healthy choices available. NOTE: you cannot get water from here. It is some crazy rule. I have not been in undergrad living on campuslandia for a while so I am my colleagues were a bit rusty. But very cool and students are definitely lucky for such a nice...
Read moreSelection is nice, with both the Quiznos and Chick-fil-A there offering a nice contrast for lunch or a late-dinner meal. Staff working the actual food court (not the individual workers at Quiznos, Chick-fil-A, etc.) tend to be rude or indifferent though; cashiers are often terse and its the one part of the experience of going there...
