This playground is the most anxiety inducing playground in Brooklyn for parents. The kids love it. These parents (my wife and I ) hate it. The only thing they got correct from a Saftey point of view is there is one way in or out. Here are the four stars of deductions. First, the fence around the playground is far too low. Of a kid can jump over it with ease or climb it with ease, then a kid can be disappeared out of the park. Second, there is deep, cold, turbulent water, very close to the playground with its fence that is too low. Third, there are no clear sight lines for where your child is for the entire playground. If you loose sight of your child, you don’t know if they are in the playground, over the fence, in the water, or stolen. Fourth, all the climbing things have no visibility from the outside and have entrances that a parent will have difficulty following their child to keep an eye on them. We live within a 30 minute walk and we avoid this playground regularly. In short, I give this playground one star because my already elevated blood pressure is even higher due to anxiety every time I or my wife brings...
