You can step inside the Oval Office, but not the real one. This replica is inside the @nyhistory . Let’s talk about the Oval Office…of course we know it as the President’s office in the West Wing. President William Howard Taft was the first president to use it 1909. But, it was FDR that relocated the office because the original location was in the center of the West Wing and there weren’t any windows. Every president can furnish the Oval Office to their own liking. Most presidents since JFK have used the same desk, which is the Resolute Desk. It was a gift from Queen Victoria in 1880 to President Rutherford Hayes. There is also said to be a secret passage under the desk in case the president needs to escape in an emergency. This replica is designed after President Reagan’s second term, which has widely been considered a classic interpretation of the Oval Office design. While you’re here, you can hear some audio recordings of presidential conversations that happened in the real Oval. ….. …. …. … #nychistory #nyc #ovaloffice #whitehouse #westwing #nyctravel #nycmuseums #nyclife #thingstodoinnyc #discovernyc #iloveny #ushistory #presidents #president #potus #newyorkcity

Feeling Stuck? Let's Find Your Way Out Together

Do you feel like you’re in a never-ending battle with stress?

Like you’re always trying to balance too much – your job, your personal life, maybe even trying to find love?

It’s like you’re carrying the world’s weight on your shoulders, trying to deal with the worries of today and old traumas that you just can’t shake off.

But here’s the thing – it’s not all doom and gloom.

Yes, you’re dealing with a lot, and it’s tough.

But what if I said there’s a way through it? A light at the end of this seemingly endless tunnel?

Imagine shaking off those invisible chains and living a life where…

You have unveiled what is holding you back and cleared it

You excel in your career

You have reached a state in which your trauma is just a vague memory from the distant past, having no more influence on you

Your relationships are fulfilling

Balance doesn’t mean sacrificing one thing for another

You feel confident and valued

You feel mentally and emotionally balanced and at peace

With the right guidance, all of this and so much more is possible.

Taking that first step might seem daunting, but you’re not doing this alone.

I recently had my first session of Hypno-Constellationsā„¢, and it was truly an amazing experience. The combination of hypnotherapy and family constellations proved to be highly effective and deeply healing. I was able to explore and address underlying issues in a unique and powerful way.

In addressing the recent replacement of my device, it becomes evident that a logical starting point is to consider the implications of technology usage on environmental and social governance initiatives. The transition to an Android device, prompted by unforeseen circumstances, has unfortunately led to restricted bandwidth and a notable impairment of my abilities, particularly concerning communication and technology utilization.

A significant concern arising from this transition lies in the user interface of the Android device, which appears to prioritize launching casually nuanced campaigns. These campaigns, often promoting fast food chains like McDonald's or offering unrealistic vacation opportunities, not only distract users but also foster mindless consumption behaviors. It is disheartening to witness how such campaigns manipulate user behavior, steering them away from mindful engagement and critical thinking.

In today's interconnected world, where access to information is paramount, technological advancements should empower users while fostering environmental and social responsibility. Instead of perpetuating mindless consumption, technology can serve as a platform for promoting mindfulness and understanding. By prioritizing user-friendly interfaces that encourage thoughtful engagement, we can avoid perpetuating harmful social dynamics and foster a more responsible technological environment.

As a consumer and user of technology products, I urge companies to consider the broader implications of their design choices and prioritize the development of interfaces that support global environmental and social governance initiatives. By harnessing the potential of technology to promote mindfulness and understanding, we can navigate the complexities of our interconnected world while contributing to positive social change.

I hope you will take these considerations into account and work towards creating technology environments that empower users and promote environmental and social...

Putting all data online, and creating a search engine to find anything in that giant mass of data, is a useful tool. But it can be used for both good and evil, depending on who is searching for what and for what purpose. Google seems to not differentiate how their tools are being used, and both good and evil proliferate on the internet. Google seems to be supporting both sides. Google makes it possible to find all sorts of businesses. That's great! But google also doesn't edit out the fake, false, attacking reviews and defamatory posts about businesses either. Stalking and harassing and bullying at a distance, anonymously is a cinch now thanks to google tools. Identity theft is out of control, revenge porn is finally being tackled... but I could go on and on about all sorts of abuses that google turns a blind eye to. My other concern with google services is lack of customer service. Its kind of dehumanizing when I try to reach out to get customer support with various google products, and either there is none, or I get an email that's not really helpful. The fact that there is no phone number to call to ask questions about how to make something work, always underlines the fact that, in my view, google doesn't see me as a human being. Google is not a company that is serving me at all, it turns out. I read a few books recently that explained to me why its like this. Because Google sees big business as their customers and 'we the people' are the product. Google collects data from the people, packages that product and resells to big businesses, gov't, etc. Its the dehumanizing factor of google that really gets to me. Google allows vast possibilities without accountability. Possibilities to find out things about people, to research, to investigate, spy, snoop, hack, or post anything online. Thats dangerous and google needs to do a better job protecting people from criminals and predators who abuse others utilizing the anonymity of...
