a small tranquil patch of park located in the West Village.
looking to escape the din of nyc and you're near 13th St and Greenwich Ave? then Jackson Square might be where you to stop to catch a breath. it's a perfect rest stop during the Spring, Summer, and warmer Fall months.
the park is quite small. it is anchored by a stunning water fountain. there are benches around the inside perimeter of the park. there's a fair amount of trees that provide shade. the grounds are well-maintained and it is rarely over crowded bc there's limited seating.
Jackson Square is a perfect spot to eat lunch, sip coffee, read a book, or recharge before heading into the insanity that is the city. it's one of those small amenities that adds to the West Village's charm.
