I stumbled upon this hidden gem last night and truly loved my experience. Dina was so welcoming and provided a complimentary experience to test out a few of Soapology's products at their sink. This service included their Shower Gel - which immediately made my hands feel moisturized and nourished - as well as their Scrub, Walnut Polish, Buttercream, and Massage Oil. Each of these products (minus the Walnut Polisher) comes in a variety of scents. I knew I couldn't leave without buying everything, and thankfully, they sell custom travel sets! The store is aesthetically pleasing (which is what caught my attention to it as I crossed the street) and stocked with an endless supply of their products. I am excited to use my new products and look forward to returning to this store for more!

Gem of a shop, hidden in meatpacking/west village. I’ve randomly been into this shop a few times over the years and always find sweet little gifts. They give you a free hand wash in a vintage bathtub sink. It’s a cute and quirky place with beautifully handmade products…very only in New York. I love all their scrubs especially their creamy ones it leaves me smooth as a baby’s bum! Also love their body washes and their candles smell wonderful and last forever! Pro tip: I bring back my glass containers when buying new ones and get a little discount, plus it’s more sustainable. The staff are nice and knowledgeable. It’s my go to shop whenever I need to get a personable and unique present. Everything looks expensive but is quite affordable. I always love supporting small businesses.

My favorite perfume and some of the best customer service❤️

Stop questioning, get whatever you want from here. Yes it's worth it, yes you need it, yes to everything. I love the oil perfumes here. They are long lasting, super sensitive skin friendly, and come in cute glass bottles. I love and highly recommend the scent "Yuzu". It's my go to. It's sweet and almost deeply floral, but it's subtle and has a very bright heart tone to it. I love it, and often get asked where it's from. It's long lasting and often I just use one little drop and it will last the whole day!

The customer service is excellent! I ordered a new bottle of the large Yuzu oil perfume and accidentally received the smaller bottle. I called to query about it and the gentleman on the phone was very patient, and understanding. He is sending me out the larger one. He was very kind, shared my love of the scent, and fixed my problem very quickly. This was today on August 25th at around 6:40 pm Chicago time, or 8:40 pm New York time. I say this so that he can get some recognition for his awesome service.

You may think its pricy, but you will smell and feel 1000x better knowing you spent your money well. Highly recommend and will be sharing...

Since I don't live in NYC (though I visit relatively often), somehow I never noticed this store before, but yesterday there was their representative standing outside & giving out soap samples. My sample (lavander) had an uncommonly beautiful scent (not as sharp as usual lavander, very unique) which compelled me to go back for more. I happened not to be in a need of soap right now, but eneded up buying a small lavander candle (which had that same scent as the lavander soap - not really of lavander, but of something abstract, of some mellow relaxed beauty). Serendipitously, I got the candle at the perfect moment, because there was a monsoon this morning with backup of building sewage causing a horendous stink in the condo. I pulled out the new candle, did not even need to light it up, but that beautiful otherworldly scent immediately covered up the sewage problem and improved my mood about a million percent. Instant effect of aromatherapy :). Back to the store experience, the service was great (they treated me with great deal of attention even though I was dressed like a bag lady & all disshevelled from rain), and I think their prices are very reasonable considering the quality of what they offer. Highly...

I wish I could give zero stars for this shop. We were walking around the neighborhood and came across Soapology. As soon as we entered the store, it smelled really good. There were two team members working in the store, a lady and a guy. The guy was helping someone with hand washing scrub samples at the sink. The lady was checking out someone. Once the lady finished checking out, she walked around the store and didn't ask if we needed help. Two more people walk in the store. The guy acknowledged them and said, "If you have any questions, please let me know." Two more people walked in, and the lady acknowledged them and asked them if they would like to try the scrubs and hand soap they have. The guy asked the other two as well if they would like to try their scrubs. Two more people walked in, and they guy acknowledged them as well. Everyone walked in after we were in the store they were all WHITE -_-

We were in the store for 15 mins or so. It was only us and two more people in the store, and the TM never gave us the service or even spoke to us. They pick and choose who to serve(white).

I am glad we decided to leave and not spend money...
