I liked this place at first, but after they reopened (after covid), instead of taking care of their Loyal customers, they slapped them in the face with a PRICE HIKE. Appointments are hit or miss as I found myself waiting up to 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment more than starting on time. I’m basing this on before the virus shut everything down. Place is clean and comfortable. I guess my gripe is more about them raising the price during a pandemic when most of us are unemployed or are coming out of unemployment. FadingTimes Barber Shop is hands down the best spot for a haircut in NYC. Every barber here is top-notch, but Johnny is the one I go to every time. He’s got an incredible eye for detail, always takes his time, and consistently delivers a perfect cut. You can tell he genuinely cares about his craft and making sure you walk out looking sharp.
