Yup!
EDIT - 7/2025:
âYup!â Thatâs all I could say the first time I tried Gelatoville a year ago. I was speechless. A true hidden gemânot just of the East Village, but maybe all of Manhattan. Itâs easily the creamiest gelato Iâve had anywhere in the city, and somehow still packed with rich, authentic flavor. That balance is rare.
The flavor lineup is consistently refreshing and satisfying. I rarely go for chocolate, but their Ferrero Rocher is phenomenal. The pistachio? Hands down one of the creamiest and most flavorful in all of NYC. Other favorites of mine include the coconut, the cookies and cream, the banana (which needs to be permanent), and their namesake, Gelatoville. This place truly rocks.
Theyâve gotten more popular latelyârightfully so. Menu prices have gone up, and thereâs now a line on weeknights. But Iâm glad theyâre thriving in such a competitive neighborhood. They deserve it.
My only gripe: the portion sizes. $8.99 for their smallest offering feels steep, especially when others in the city are offering more generous servings at the same price. They label it as regular (and there is technically two scoops), but itâs minuscule. Still, maybe it doesnât matterâbecause no one does it quite like Gelatoville.
Jk it matters give people more bang for...

I fell in love and could have had another scoop. Located in the East Village and opened two years ago , this gelateria fills the need for chilled ice cream in this neighborhood. Mujo is the Turkish owner, who has spent time in Italy and as he told me this gelato is from Florence. Sam was the friendly ice cream server who let me sample assorted flavors before I made my selection. I sat down to eat as there was plenty of seating. The wall of cones is pretty. I plan to return to sample and enjoy more flavors. Prices here are similar to other ice...

We ordered the large gelato that comes with 4 scoops. We tried t he Ferrero Rocher, Cheesecake, Gelatoville, and Tiramisu. My favorite was Ferrero Rocher - it tasted exactly like the chocolate. The tiramisu and cheesecake were also really good, they were the perfect gelato versions of the original desserts. The gelatoville was good too, but I donât really know how to describe the taste. The gelato is creamy and represents their flavors perfectly. Overall, I would recommend if youâre looking for...
