What a cool and unexpected surprise during our walk through the city! 🕊️ Right next to the High Line, we stumbled upon this giant colorful pigeon statue — and wow, it really catches your eye! 🎨 It’s fun, quirky, and somehow peaceful at the same time. What I loved most is that there are benches nearby where you can sit, relax, and just enjoy the view. 🌿 After that, you can take a nice walk through the small nearby park — it’s such a great spot to pause and take a breather from the busy NYC streets. 🚶‍♀️☀️ This pigeon feels symbolic, like it’s watching over the city, reminding us to slow down and appreciate the moment. Definitely worth a visit, whether you’re exploring the High Line or just looking for something unique and meaningful. ✨ HIGHLY RECOMMEND 🕊️ (Personally mine)

Pretty cool minimalist fountain at street level directly under The Spur. The water clings to a black rock-like surface as it flows over it and is reclaimed within a 2 inch seem in the surrounding concrete ground without disturbance. It's very smooth and peaceful. Kids like to touch and play with it, although they absolutely shouldn't stand on it for safety.

The fountain is under the elevated but the tree is much more interesting. It's bold color in the gray and shiny city really catches the eye. There are many other sites nearby (Highline Trail, The Edge, Vessel, Hudson Yards) so they are worth a stop.
