Came with a large group for a social corporate event. While the front is on the smaller side, cute, and very intimate, the back court yard is spacious and can fit a relatively large group. The drinks and food were fantastic. For our even the food came unending; and I have to admit it classy how they gave us to go boxes long before the even ended. Our group was likely between 7-15 people and they fit us just well. The courtyards design of fusion cultures (both European and Asian) created a fantasticly chill environment. The front is more of a European pub feel which honestly was refreshing coming in from the concrete jungle just outside the front door. I recommend this place for groups and private.

Death Avenue? More like Death to My Wallet—great food, but my bank account needed CPR afterward! Death Avenue has a great vibe, and the food and drinks definitely deliver on quality and taste. The menu offers a nice variety, and everything we ordered was well-prepared and flavorful. The cocktails, in particular, were a highlight—unique and expertly crafted. That said, the prices were surprisingly steep for what you get. While the experience was enjoyable overall, it’s hard to ignore the cost when compared to similar spots in the area. If you're looking to splurge a bit, it’s worth checking out, but keep the price tag in mind when planning your visit.

Was on The Highline and literally dying for a beer and out of the blue Death Ave Brewery appeared! How I've never been here before baffles me but we were blown away. Amazing brews which were perfect along with their pizzas. Service was super friendly and informative and we shown around both spaces and found their outdoor garden in the back where we took our corn hole skills to the next level. I've been back 3 times since and enjoyed trying new beers each time. Highly recommended.

I am giving a 1 star rating for 2 reasons: 1) they intentionally mislead customers and 2) the staff is poorly trained. In my opinion, please consider this carefully before going to this place. And the bottom line: they try to charge an extra ~4% to your bill and you don't know until its too late.

I recently went there for brunch with my girlfriend because I lived in the neighborhood for years and always wanted to try it. Food and drinks were definitely a little pricey but portions were big enough where I wasn't too upset at the value. When I got the bill, there was a confusing message at the top that paying cash would give a 3.95% discount but paying card would result in a 3.95% charge. Wait, so that's almost an 8% swing, something is going on here. And there was nothing on the menu or in the place that said anything about this.

I asked the waitress. She wasn't sure. Wait what, how am I the only one to ask this?

I asked the manager. She said cash payers would get a discount but there wouldn't be any charge for paying card. Ok, this to me is fine. No downside, only upside. So for my $75 bill, I paid cash.

When I gave the cash, the manager passed this onto a different waiter, who was completely and utterly confused what to do. Do I give a discount? Do I not? He had no clue. He asked our waitress. She had no idea. Then he asked the manager I spoke to and after about 5-6 minutes, a transaction was done. My change? $5. Of course.

Wait, I thought I was going to get a discount (I asked the manager again). She said she was confused and actually what they do is charge 3.95% more for any credit card transaction. This is where I have a problem. Basically everyone pays in credit cards. And they only bring this up now? If they clearly marked it in the place or menu or something (even being told when I come in), maybe I'd be okay. But just add the credit card cost to your prices. Don't nickel and dime me and only tell me when I get my bill. This is unacceptable.

I asked, do others complain about this? The managers response: Yes

I asked, ok, so are you okay with posting this on yelp, google, etc? She tried to explain the policy me again.

I said, No, I get it. I'm just really confused. I don't think I'm going to come back ever again. She said "Ok" and walked away. No further apology or anything from her. So we left.

All in all, this place is obviously trying to charge people extra money and only letting them know when they get the bill. Their staff is completely clueless on the policy. This place is clearly not ready to run a functional brewery/restaurant and need to take several steps to fix the problems they have. Hopefully after that, people can go back and enjoy this place. But unfortunately, I will...

I recently discovered this charming little wine store tucked away in the heart of NYC, and it has quickly become my go-to destination for all things wine. From the moment you step inside, it's evident that the owner's passion for wine permeates every corner of this establishment.

The owner's expertise in the world of wine is truly remarkable. Their vast knowledge and deep understanding of different wine regions, grape varietals, and flavor profiles are evident in every conversation I've had with them. Whether you're a wine connoisseur or a novice enthusiast, you'll find their guidance invaluable in making the perfect selection.

One of the standout features of this store is the wide selection of wines from all over the world. It's like taking a global tour through vineyards and wineries, right here in NYC. From the rich, full-bodied reds of Bordeaux to the crisp and refreshing whites of New Zealand, they have something to satisfy every palate and occasion. It's an absolute delight to explore their shelves and discover hidden gems from both renowned and lesser-known vineyards.

The store itself exudes an inviting and cozy ambiance. The well-organized displays make it easy to navigate and find exactly what you're looking for. The staff members are friendly, attentive, and always ready to offer recommendations or answer any questions you may have. Their genuine enthusiasm for wine creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere that sets this place apart from larger, impersonal wine retailers.

In addition to the exceptional wine selection, this store also hosts regular tastings and events that provide an opportunity to expand your knowledge and explore new flavors. These events are well-organized and thoughtfully curated, providing a fantastic way to engage with the wine community and connect with other enthusiasts.

As a wine lover, finding a store like this feels like stumbling upon a hidden treasure. The owner's expertise, combined with the impressive range of wines, creates an experience that is both educational and enjoyable. Whether you're seeking a bottle for a special occasion, looking to broaden your wine horizons, or simply want to indulge in a well-deserved glass of vino, this small wine store is an absolute must-visit.

I highly recommend this establishment to anyone in search of exceptional wines and a personalized experience. Trust me, you won't be...
