Update: Rudsak finally reached out to remedy the situation and sent me a new coat as well as an accessory of my choice. Marie was communicative and quick to respond. As a result, I have changed my review to 4 stars.
Rudsak came highly recommended, so I was excited to purchase my first coat from them. I went to Hudson Yards and had a great experience with the store staff. However after a few weeks of wearing the coat, the belt broke. I was informed I would have to ship it back to Canada at my expense. Shame on me for not reading the fine print when I bought the coat, however, since it was purchased in NYC, I figured I could return it to the store. I filled out extensive forms, and paid $70 to ship it to Canada to the address provided. Apparently no one was at the warehouse to receive the delivery. I spent TWO MONTHS, the entire winter, emailing and calling Canada, again at my expense. FINALLY last week they agreed to ship me a new coat. It's Spring and I had no coat all winter. Read moreI hate leaving bad reviews but I have no choice. I have spent over 5k at this company in the past two months. I bought a backpack as a gift about three weeks ago and both plastic clips broke. The recipient of the gift went it to the store and asked what they could do and was not given any help, I went in the next day and spoke with my sales woman, she mentioned that she would call her manger and find out. Two days later she called me and said no problem, they will exchange it for me. I showed up to exchange it and after 30 minutes of waiting the gentleman told me that they won’t exchange it because I don’t have. Receipt, refused to pull the transaction up in his computer. This stuff looks high quality, but it’s not. The customer service is atrocious.
Also some white boots I bought online for my wife have also fallen apart. They could have kept a great customer, but choose to lose me instead.

I came in with kind of a tough situation. I had bought a jacket as a gift, but the person I gave it to took the tags off before realizing it didn’t fit. I figured exchanging it would be a headache, but the staff was so understanding. Cheita greeted me with a smile and listened to the whole story without making me feel awkward. Yani explained their policy but reassured me they’d do their best to help.
Eric jumped in and helped me pick out a different jacket, even pointing out a few styles I hadn’t noticed. He was super patient and made it feel like he really cared about finding the perfect one. In the end, De’Avion approved the exchange, and I walked out with a new jacket that fit perfectly.
