 Off the bat, there is no mistake he’s someone who’s an enthusiast first. His deep love for vintage watches and the rich history they embody was immediately evident. Had a nice chat delving into the profound narratives behind family heirloom watches and the stories they carry for many of us who are into horology for what is meant to be and not for the flash or as a misguided attempt to join in on temporary market bubbles.

Beyond vintage pieces, his knowledge of the modern lines and the evolutionary steps they took to reach their current forms is very impressive.

Love to see the team grow with new members who are passionate about horology and can relate to/immediately identify customers who are fellow aficionados.

It’s been a rough while in the watch world. Empty display cases, shifty dealers, hoards of flippers, and an unchecked grey market. The watch collection landscape was becoming increasingly difficult to navigate for genuine enthusiasts. It became convoluted enough where I basically put an indefinite pause on looking for the pieces I loved from watch makers I did not have pre-existing relationships with. It felt as if there wasn’t a single AD that would give new clients, even ones with serious intent, a real chance.

I did not expect that sentiment to be so suddenly and completely flipped on its head, much less by a boutique in my own neighborhood.

I happened to be in the store with some friends who were visiting the city as they wanted to explore this gorgeous flagship showroom. We were approached by Stephanie and she showed us around the cases. Quickly realizing Stephanie is the personable, direct, and genuinely knowledgable representative one would hope to run into, we set up a client profile for me and I left with a gut feeling that I finally found an AD I can have faith in.

How right I was.

Stephanie has been a consummate professional and an outright fun person to work with at every turn. I am blown away by the speed and efficacy of her work and I feel very lucky she is my representative. The management at this location is clearly a cut above as well from what I have experienced thus far in how the boutique is run. Even their quick interactions with me while I am in the showroom for my appointments have been reassuring.

It has been an unbelievably refreshing change of pace to find an ideal representative like Stephanie and an AD of this caliber. Getting a new watch is always fun but the enjoyment of my first piece through them has been through the roof due to how ideal the experience was in obtaining it.

I look forward to returning for the next piece, as I certainly will not be taking my business...
