OBSESSED is an understatement. I have always had colored hair and have yet to find salon who can produce the results without damaging my hair and putting a dent in my wallet. Owen, my hair stylist, did an amazing job giving me a perfect warm brown color hair without damaging my hair. He also gave me the perfect shoulder length, sleek cut.

Coming in to the salon, I didn’t know exactly what brown color and cut I wanted. I was unhappy with my current situation and I wanted to chop all my hair and get a bob cut. Owen showed me different brown shade options, and asked me several questions about my daily style routines. He knew that i was very low maintenance and suggested that bob cut wouldn’t best suit me because bob cuts needs lots of maintenance and you need to be well dressed at all times for the bob cut to look nice and sleek. However, I don’t have time for that so he gave me a soft, shoulder length cut. I can tell that he is very professional from the way he cuts. You can also tell that he is a very professional stylish by asking for your daily routine to get a better knowledge of what styles would suit our everyday life style. A lot of salons don't consult anymore and they just give you whatever you ask for (whether if it’ll look nice or not on you).

Owen also suggested bleaching my hair to get an even brown color because I originally had balayage and my roots were growing out. However I was very against bleach and he saw that my scalp was very sensitive so he was able to find a way to not bleach and still gave me the perfect result. I also got a milbon treatment, and results were shocking. For the past few years, every single time I dye my hair my scalp would peel for few days. My entire scalp would be super flaky and dried. However this time round, my scalp has not peeled at all. It’s almost shocking to me. It’s definitely a combination of their quality products (dye and hair wash products) and the milbon treatment.

The entire process was very thorough, easy, and chill. The price was very reasonable. My sister also got a dye and a trim the same day and she was obsessed with the overall results. I would 1000% recommend this place and Owen is the guy...

TLDR: highly recommend as a Sunday afternoon walk-in customer with very thick and hard-to-tame hair. Price was pretty worth and cheaper than some other salons nearby. 小欧 (XiaoOu) was also very entertaining but his skills did most of the talking

My last visit was 2 yrs ago for a hair straightening (I have naturally wavy, thick and course asian hair that gets quite out of control) and I was told it would last for half a yr, but thankfully it lasted for 2 years (1 more yr longer and cheaper than a previous salon I went to nearby). Came back today on a Sunday afternoon as a walk-in for a regular cut and wash (range of $48-68) due to the increasing heat, and was very pleasantly surprised. As someone with very thick and poofy hair, much respect to the hair stylist who washed my hair (it definitely took a while but she was patient and made sure to massage my scalp) and 小欧 (XiaoOu), who cut and styled my hair. I left my phone in the lockers, and his good sense of humor kept me and his coworkers entertained throughout the visit. When I say trust the process, definitely do trust the process, especially when you were previously traumatized by other hair stylists. He was also very helpful throughout the visit, and gave helpful styling tips, which are a lifesaver for someone who has struggled with hair that refused to listen for years. The price was also pretty good compared to other places I’ve been to, and the never ending reviews of this place do ring true. For those interested in getting their hair dyed or extended, there were quite a bunch of customers who came in for that and didn’t have to wait to get help. They also had 2 stylists each tending to them throughout their session. I recently visited Miss Hair Studio for a gel manicure and a haircut, wash, and blowout, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! I loved the convenience of having both services done in one place since I was a little short on time. The salon is chic and welcoming, and the staff is incredibly friendly and professional. I did a walk in but just called 30 minutes prior on a Friday morning to make sure they would be able to see me. They also have lockers with keys where you can keep your items safe and sound so you don’t have to carry them around with you.

The gel manicure was done with precision, and the color selection was fantastic. Her attention to the prep work was great! My nails look stunning and the gel manicure has held up beautifully. As for my haircut, the stylist really listened to what I wanted and gave me a style that suits me perfectly. The wash and blowout were relaxing and left my hair feeling soft and looking fabulous. I had requested to make sure my hair was voluminous and would hold up for a couple hours and the blowout is still holding up 3 days later!
