I WISH I COULD GIVE LESS THAN 1 STAR!!!!I have been supporting this car wash for over 20 years and after what I have been experiencing over the past two months, I felt it is time to let other customers know. I am going to use bullet points to point out many things as most people would not want to read an extremely wrong review. Maybe the owner will respond, or better yet, come to work, run the business or higher a manager.
The carwash was supposed to open at 8:00 am, I was the first car on the line at 7:30 am.
Workers showed up about 15 minutes before and many went to Dunkin Donuts for breakfast.
By 8:10 am there were about 15 cars on the line with no idea of why they did not open yet.
The person in charge Noel drove up at 8:05am, parked his car on the sidewalk as he thinks he owns the street. Why not find a spot like everyone else. Instead, he blocks the people walking by parking on the sidewalk. See attached photo.
At 8:15 am I walked inside and asked when they would open. No response, Noel just stared, asked again no response.
One worker said they had to heat things up. I said it would have been nice to just let everyone on the line know what was happening instead of ignoring them. A lot of customers were very upset. They knew it was cold and should have arrived much earlier to be ready for the Saturday rush. After much pressure they finally opened at 8:20 am. If I did not complain, I am sure it would have been much later.
I have 2 cars and pay for the monthly exterior wash for both cars. Many others and I were not able to use the benefits of the monthly plan as they have been closed for several days in the past few months. I think they were closed for one week straight at the end of January.
I was told the manager Carlos quit and I do not ever see the owner there otherwise I would ask what is going on. Carlos was there for many years and was very nice. He probably got fed up with the way the business is run.
Noel has a horrible attitude and does not care about what happens, he appears to be the person in charge. He only smiles or talks to attractive young woman. If not, he is stone faced. If he worked for me, I would have fired him a long time ago. The only reason they appear to do business is that there are no other carwashes anywhere nearby in Bay Ridge.
It is sad because all the other workers appear to be nice and try to help. Workers are given no direction, so they do not work with speed or purpose. Plan to stand on the line for around 1 hour, especially on weekends.

I’ll drive to the car wash in Sunset Park that offers the same monthly car wash (and actually cleans the inside as well). There’s this one slim Hispanic gentleman that has been working there for years (i am Hispanic myself) who always has an attitude. I’ve observed him for many years only being cordial to attractive women and nasty to everyone else. I knew at some point he would say something to me nasty, it was only a matter of time.
I pay for the monthly car wash service which allows me unlimited car washes for the month (one per day). Today I forgot to leave my keys inside the car (which i always remember to do). As i’m waiting for my car to come out he comes up to me and says “yo, you come here every day (mind you i pay for the monthly service and tip every time), you’re supposed to know to leave your keys inside the car !” while waving his hands at me and then storms away. There was a customer sitting on the bench and he simply said “that guy is always nasty to customers”, so i knew i wasn’t going crazy. I would’ve asked to speak to the owner, but that place appears to be absent of anyone who is managing the place. Not to mention, there’s this aggressive homeless man that panhandles in the Dunkin Donuts next door that locks himself inside of the bathroom of the car wash to smoke crack all the time (ask the employees at the counter if you don’t believe me). Read more@Soft Touch Car Wash. I won’t be reading your response since the time to resolve the issue amicably was when it was first brought to your attention. This review was written to inform customers of common business practices followed by management.
Service has gone downhill. I ordered their superior interior + platinum service. Their machine broke my car antenna. I brought it to the attention of the manager, no refund or discount as offered. It doesn’t matter if a part costs $15.00 or $20.00, we have to be accountable for our actions, specially when we conduct business. The employees did a great job.
Last month, i ordered their gold service but they went ahead and ordered the more expensive platinum service. When i brought it to the attention of the supervisor that handles the tickets, he told me it only cost a little bit more. A customer should not be imposed a service he did not asked for. They did brought back the ticket to gold service, but the experience left a bad aftertaste.
The employees do a great job with the cleaning, but management needs to evaluate their customer approach. They lost two regular high paying customers . Please find a place that don’t cheat you out of your money. Not...
