I bought two pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses in Macy’s on December 12, 2021, but after I go home, I found there is a malfunction with the pair of sunglasses which is $299 with blue LED. But the blue LED cannot be turned on and cannot link to blue tooth. So I went to Macy’s to return the malfunction sunglasses. The staff in the store said it’s not returnable while I checked the Macy’s website which states it’s returnable. The staff asked me to come again on 12/16 to check with her manager. I went to the store on 12/16, but the manager is not in the store again. Another staff replied me that it’s not returnable per manager. I asked why? I bought it and found it malfunction and requested for return right away on the second day from purchase , why non-returnable? Then the staff examined the sunglasses for a while, and didn’t find any scratches, or any missing parts, everything of the sunglasses is in the box. Then he texted his manager. After he texted with his manager, he didn’t say anything to me , but he took the sunglasses and continued to wipe the sunglasses for about 15 minutes. Then he said the sunglasses has a scratch, so it’s non-returnable, if there’s no scratch, it’s ok to return. I said in the beginning you said it’s not returnable, but now you say it’s ok to return if there’s no scratch? and you examined and found no problem at all in the beginning , after you continuing wiped and wiped, it come out a scratch and you say you cannot return because of it? It’s a never-wear sunglasses, how can it has a scratch? The staff ignored me and just say it’s non-returnable. I feel very disappointed and helpless, there’s nothing I can do, so l left the sunglasses in the store. Now I’m seeking help about the refund. Please help. I will attach the receipt here.
