Just walking in, there are many amenities for customers to take advantage while waiting. There are snacks and beverages offered to everyone as well as a children playroom, a shoe shiner machine and a hand massage station. Sadly, I was unable to use many of the amenities due to lack of customers, it was not offered.

My friend made the reservation mentioning we were coming in for a celebration. I was pleasantly surprised to find our table nicely decorated with birthday decoration. It was a nice surprise on behalf of the Haidilao servers and staff.

Haidilao offers a wide range of food selections for customers to order. All orders are done on the iPad with accurate pictures and pricing of each food. Important to note that Haidilao is an order by plate hot pot restaurant NOT an AYCE. With that said, the quality of food is average and can be compared to others.

The most expensive part of the food sections are the seafood and the meat. During our visit, seafood was such as lobsters, Dungeness crabs, etc. was not available. Meat slices can range from $59.99 for Waygu to $10.99 for basic beef slice. Despite pay by plates, there were many things offered for free such as fruits, appetizers and dessert making sure you’ll leave Haidilao full and satisfied. At the end of dining, you are also offer soft serve ice cream.

Highly recommend ordering the Tomato hot pot soup base. The best tomato soup base compared to all its competitor. The tomato flavor is flavorful and light. The soup base is not as oily as it’s tomato soup base you can purchase from the supermarket. It had a nicely balanced between the sweet and savory. Haidilao also has sauces already made to help you pair with your corresponding soup base.

Haidilao is a reputable restaurant for its dancing noodles. I’d recommend ordering the dancing noodle for the experience only. If you’re looking to order for noodles to fill your stomach, I would not order it. I personally will not be ordering it again because the dance is quite short as well as for the price I paid, it comes with very little noodles.
