The Foundry is NYCs best kept, big secret. The space is gorgeous and whimsical. Every square inch is prettier than the next there are endless possibilities of what you can do with the venue that the sky is the limit. All angles are photogenic and charming. It's spotless and grows more beautiful throughout the day.
There are multiple pockets at the venue that you can opt to rent for your event. Each unique room transforms your event into a new and intimate setting. Everything from the Main Space, The Green Room, Albra Room, and the Pool Room help ensure that your event is unforgettable. The Foundry has multiple terraces that are worth visiting and investing in as well. It's like finding a fairytale inside of Manhattan. It truly is a stunning contrast between the natural and industrial elements. Our guests can't stop raving about the gorgeous space and to us, it was a dream.
Beyond raving about the space itself, The Foundry has two of the sweetest and most hard-working employees that represent the space. Angela and Lindsey were incredible from our initial visit right through to our wedding day. They are extremely welcoming, detail orientated, have a wealth of knowledge, and communicative. They quickly responded to emails, and patiently answered every question we had. Both Angela and Lindsey are the dream team that ensures that everything in the space goes off without a hitch. Both are so helpful and lovely, and an absolute joy to work with. Together they helped make our perfect day the day it was and as stress-free as possible.
If you are considering this venue for your event, we highly recommend it. We know the idea of the raw space could be intimidating but having the opportunity to create an authentic space filled with all your loved ones is an indescribable feeling. Especially if it comes packed with a list of the best vendors in the city and the two hardest-working employees in the industry.

Read moreWent there this New Year's Eve for a wedding Afterparty. I used to go to NYC Clubs my entire life from about 15 to 26 years old so I'm very familiar with the club/lounge settings. But this freaking place had THE WORST MUSIC EVER PLAYED at any event where there is dancing. For Gods sake it is a new years eve party with an added Caviar of it being g a wedding after party as well. But the Owner/Staff were more worried about not letting in THE BRIDE and 2 of her Bridesmaids cuz they didnt have their ID cuz she was wearing a wedding dress and apparently the staff there is unaware that you cannot get married unless you are of age, so I guess all the staff was focused on that and forgot to hire a DJ who had real music and also knew how to play it. Instead, we got treated to the best hits of the late 80s and 90s, I think the newest song played may have been Mariah Carey's "all I want for xmas", and that is not a joke. For such a fun and amazing wedding, the Foundry was not worth paying what they charged, they weren't even worth to pay for the paper the entry ticket was printed on. They had a ton of bartenders working and 3 different ones asked me if I knew how to make a long island iced read and a sex on the beach cuz that's what I ordered for my girl and I and they had no clue what I was saying. Overall terrible place that night, gave them 3 starts cuz the view from some...
Read moreI had the absolute worst experience at this establishment. The owner has no customer service skills. The curtains used for my wedding were practically taped to the walls and ruined all of my wedding photos that I paid thousands of dollars for. When I raised the issue to owner she suggested I ask my photographer to edit the pictures. And further more stated that I didn’t raise any issues the day of the wedding. Why would I raise concern when I have guests waiting there and it’s supposed to be my special day? What were they going to do?..go to the nearest bed bath and beyond and buy a rod for The curtains and install them while I was getting married and partying with my guests? No compensation was offered to me even when I showed pictures of how terrible the curtains looked . No apology no nothing. I spent over 12k just to ReNT this space. This does not include catering or party rentals etc. it’s disgusting this place is still in business. My wedding pictures are forever ruined. And I’m sure my guests were wondering why the hell the curtains looked like they were thrown on a wall with thumb tacks. I literally want to sue this place. Every review here says how beautiful the space is and for that I would agree. But my experience was terrible. Alisson offered zero compassion. Terrible...
