Brooklyn Studios is an outstanding rehearsal space that checks all the boxes. Communication with the reservation and stage management team is incredibly easy and efficient, making the booking process a breeze. Their pricing is highly reasonable, offering great value for the quality of service provided.
Our stage manager, Mustafa, was extremely accommodating and proactive, ensuring everything ran smoothly at all times, and never hesitated to address all of our in-the-moment gear requests, of which there were many. Plus, the availability of production, grip, and lighting gear on-site saves time and effort, with high-quality equipment ready when you need it.
Access is also a standout feature, thanks to their two large rollup doors, which make loading and unloading from stake bed and cube trucks extremely convenient. This was especially helpful during the rain, which actually occurred as we were loading in at the start of the day. Read moreI booked an important commercial shoot in NYC at the last minute and needed to find a studio. The shoot was a combo of a still shoot and a tv commercial at the same time. I looked at numerous studios, and then a friend recommended Brooklyn Studios in Long Island City. I did a walk through that evening... and booked the studio for a few days. This served our purposes of having a stage and a studio all wrapped into one. Brooklyn Studios was reasonably priced. The staff was efficient and accommodating. It has an amazing rooftop with an incredible view of the 59th St Bridge and Manhattan, conference rooms, and lounge area. Very clean - my shoot involved a celebrity, so cleanliness was of utmost importance.

Read morelocation location location...I'll start with the rooftop: amazing views of Manhattan and the 59th Street Bridge. The studio itself: a great soundproof stage with really high ceilings (28'-30'?), with grid. The 2 street level drive-thru doors, made load in / load out seamless. Didn't need the shoot-in kitchen or bath this time, but will keep in mind for future reference. Upstairs: a mezzanine we used, as well...this studio has eclectic / modern furniture available, which worked for our purposes. Also, nice, comfortable office space upstairs. Staff very helpful pre-production as well as throughout our shoot, and post-production. Looking forward to the next opp to work here, looking into the roof for upcoming project. I love the rooftop, as...
