This is my first Google review because I felt severely compelled to share this feedback. If I could give my experience at this UPS Store zero stars I would. The young adult I encountered here was unprofessional and rushed me unnecessarily. I don't encounter this at other UPS stores or their competitors when it comes to printing services.
I brought a sensitive document to be scanned and emailed so that I can have a digital copy for safekeeping, I suggested using the scanner myself since I'm familiar with the equipment and this is what I usually do at other UPS Stores and Fedex Print Center locations without issue, but the attendant recommended doing it; I assumed that the scanner was faulty and required some nuanced procedure for operation, he took my document and threw it in the machine unevenly, causing it to be crushed by the scanner. It took everything in my body to not blow a gasket in the store.
Without going into details; the document was notarized, stamped and was of utmost importance to me, and now it looks absolutely unprofessional for its intended purpose; and it is difficult for me to have another copy notarized before the deadline by which I needed it. On the second attempt to scan the document properly, the attendant debated with me when I suggested using the preview option on the scanner to review the copy before emailing it, and he wanted me to pay for it despite the digital copy not coming out with the format that I wanted.
If you're going to have people represent your business, please make sure that they're fully trained and mature enough to deal with your customers. I understand and support giving young people opportunities but the documents that are brought to the store should be treated with care, there's no way to know how important these documents are to some people. The sad part is that this young man was training another employee at the time, such role models should reflect the principles and values of the organization, those weren't on display during my visit. I'm sure this attendant is very smart, but customer service and attention to detail was not a quality observed here.
I've encountered young people at other UPS stores who have been extremely courteous, professional and know how to treat people; please do a better job training and evaluating your employees. I've never in my life been more turned off from a franchise than I was on this day,...
Read morePosting so this doesn't happen to anyone else. I had package shipping to Canada. Ihtisham L. made a typo and put $500 on the customs form instead of $50. This resulted in a charge to the receiver of the package. The UPS office at first tried to fix it by admitting to the error and working with the Canada customs team to update customs forms. Unfortunately, that didn't work and the package had to be returned back. This error caused a delay and the package was stuck for month. During this process, I had to call the UPS store several times to track the package as this was a customs issue. On one of my calls, I spoke to John and confirmed that they would re-ship the package at the store's expense when it is returned as it was their error. I asked him if he confirmed with their manager and he said yes. I also asked him to put this as a note in the group chat where there was a conversation about this package so there's a record of it. He confirmed he did.
Finally, the package was returned a month later and I bring it to the store to re-ship. The manager, Shahid Hussain, tells the representative that he can only offer 50% off the shipping cost. I ask the representative if he can get the manager, Shahid Hussain, on the phone to speak to me, but the manager refused to speak to me.
In the future, if an error is made by a team in this store, please get everything in writing as the manager doesn't honor his word. I was told multiple times that they would pay for reshipping the package; but when it came time to it, they made multiple excuses and one of them is that they would pay for the return of the package to New York, which is a cost I would never ask about as it is a cost I would never incur.

Read moreFrequent visitor to this location and the staff especially Shahzeb go beyond and out of there way to help and service me and all patrons visiting here. Everytime I have visited here I tend to get Shahzeb helping me out and he makes the experience so much more pleasant. He is a great listener and is able to assist me with any questions and concerns I have regarding printing, shipping and any concern I have with my postal box there. He has helped me with notary on many occasions. Would definitely recommend this location to everyone. Don't know what the other negative commentors are talking about because every visit here is amazing for me. The staff here are very friendly and are extra helpful. The manager always goes up and beyond just to help me and all the customers visiting here. Used to frequent the other local location and they used to give me a hard time.
