Gyro Cafe — Restaurant in New York

I’ve had over 100 orders on DoorDash and never once complained about the quality of the food at all. This was downright inedible. The falafel was tasteless, missing tomatoes, cucumbers, and hummus as advertised. It was drenched in sauce and the pita was disgusting because it soaked it all up. I spooned off sauce to try to eat it. The platter was also covered in sauce and was disgusting. I was so hungry, took two bites, and then bit into a hot pepper. It did not say hot peppers were included. It was also missing cucumbers, tomatoes, and hummus - and also chicken. It only had lamb. I tried the hummus and the texture is like sand. It is overwhelmingly citrus flavored. I threw it out. Also - I was hoping that the baklava would be the saving grace but it didn’t even show up. The only thing I actually ate was the pita that came with the hummus. I haven’t eaten since 1pm - it’s now almost 2am - and this is what I paid for. It’s depressing. I just cried. I am tired, hungry, and disappointed. As a person with fluctuating income, I hate wasting food and money, but I have zero desire to ever eat this food again beyond this moment. I'm on Google searching for a delicious Lamb Gyro to eat right now, I've never used this restaurant but it had 4 plus Stars so I wanted to try them. I called for a pickup order but I had to cancel and hang up because before they can take my order they got rude agressive and spoke to me like I was an idiot. I requested a Double Lamb Gyro No PITA, and a reg Lamb gyro. The original guy on phone asked if I wanted a gyro or platter I said a gyro no pita and he said ok hold on. So I'm assuming he put his boss on, because he passed the phone and this guy asked what I want. I repeated and he asked doni want a platter or a gyro? I said gyro. He asked a couple more times and I explained what I wanted and then He said "then don't tell me no pita you want a platter" RUDE RUDE RUDE! THEY ARE SO RUDE. STAY AWAY! they don't even know I'm a first time potential customer just trying to get lunch! Idk if you have preexisting policies or who had to mess it up foreveryone else! Now do I have to purchase a larger more expensive "platter" when I know that most restaurants use that to throw more salad in and less Lamb so get your customer service...

The one star is for lack of costumer service. I ordered gyros for my family and they did not say they come with hot sauce in the description. My grandmother and aunt cannot tolerate or eat hot sauce. I called up the Coney Island location and they gave me a run around and had me call another location and finally I called them again and he magically remembered I did place the order with them. When I asked to be sent new gyros without hot sauce he said next time this and that and would not fix their mistake. If on the menu it was stated the gyros came with hot sauce I would of asked them to put it on the side. If anyone has allergies or intolerance to certain ingredients and they just put them in the food and don't correct their mistake then it could possibly be life threatening if the costumer doesn't know the food will come with something that isn't listed on the menu.
