Hadi Catering & Party Hall — Restaurant in New York

Let me start off by saying I never ever leave reviews but this place is definitely worth talking about. I’m very hesitant in trying new places but this place def takes the cake. This place exceeded all my expectations! Everything was outstandingly delicious! From the samosas down to the naans & salans. Even the dessert had me wanting more and I don’t even have such a big sweet tooth!!!! Everything was served hot and fresh. My absolute favorite were the garlic naans!!! At one point I was just eating the naan by itself and placed another order just so I can take some home. This place def reminded me of Pakistan. The ambiance and aroma itself had me reminiscing. The staff was very welcoming and respectful and the place was meticulously clean! They also have a catering hall on the side which is amazing! Pretty spacious for birthdays and family gatherings. After my first amazing experience I held my daughters first birthday party there as well and I couldn’t have been more happier. Everyone at the party kept raving about the food and the service. I travel from Baltimore Maryland with my family for New York to get boys haircuts in Jackson heights and decided to check new restaurant ending up in Hadi restaurant 683 Coney Island Brooklyn New York, people at counter greet us with warm welcome, I requested that we travel 200 miles away, make sure food is good, they deliver the food wasn’t cooked properly, lamb chops was raw ( uncooked red inside) we ordered (1) paya(2)lamb chop (3)chicken Achari (4) chicken tikka (5)butter chicken (6)kabobs, I swear to Allah none of one dish was cooked, we called owner and showed the red uncooked meat etc, he said every body has different tastes, I said I’m not talking about taste, I’m talking about bad quality food, then he said read our reviews, I told him I own two business in Baltimore and I know how reviews works, most of them fake, but instead he apologize and provide us good food he was arguing for nothing, we left food on table and paid the bill and ended in Jackson heights and eat lunch at Dera restaurant, I know saif nagra owner of Dera restaurant , he welcomes us and had nice lunch with outstanding customer service as...

Went here for a family iftaar with multiple family members. There were seven of us. We tried almost everything on the menu (for breaking fast) and honestly sad to say none of it was good. Not a single thing. We left more than half the food on the table when we left with some dishes 90% untouched. The taste of everything was stale or bad or both. It’s not the fault of the service people - the chef or whoever is cooking should be changed. The food wasn’t fresh or tasted good. The paya , beef, chicken, fish all smelled. The samosa chaat, the appetizers , nothing tasted good. The entire family had the same opinion. The restaurant people are not bad , they did try. But the food tasted awful it’s sad.
