It's obvious that it's due to the ferry service and commuters that have to pass the area to get to the ferry. I hope that it continues to be maintained as we enjoyed visiting this plsyground and park.

Beautiful park yet in the summer time this park and surrounding area are filled with mosquitos. People from the NYCHA apartments are always filling the park with smoke, loud music, loud, and drinking liquor. I avoid this park with my kids because it feels very unsafe. They need park rangers to limit the smoking etc in kid areas. Also a lot of strange people in the area (predators) that sit and stare at the...

Such a nice playground kids nowadays have it good, a big change from how parks were in the 90s, that being said im from the bx so i have no clue if this park always looked this nice either...
