The staff at this place and the manager are rude and very nasty to their customers. The ticket customer service representatives are rude and nasty and the manager allows them to be rude and confrontational to their customers. The staff is allowed to follow customers and bully them in front of people. My daughter had a bad experience in this place the customer service representative came out of her cabinet and came to my daughter and harassed her in front of other people . Seriously you get pay to sale tickets and to make sure customer questions are answered just because a customer has questions does not give no one the right to be rude. My daughter was asking the rep how much were tickets and the rep got upset because my daughter had many questions about their tickets and prices and what included the rep got annoyed and my daughter just paid the ticket and went on her way . I guess the rep was not to happy about my daughter just paying for her ticket and walking away that she follow my daughter around and bullied her asking her in front a whole crow if she had a problem. I went to the manager and made a complaint and what he did was really disappointed he just didn’t just ignored me completely but when I was basically escorted out of his little box when I said he was taking my complaint very lightly because while talking to him he never looked up me it was very obvious he was to busy taking care of personal stuff . Once out of his office , I saw him talking to the girl and basically laughing at my face. This is a business and you get pay to make sure customers are well taken care of. If the staff don’t like their job quit and leave the position to someone that actually is going to do a better job. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place at all. !!! Let’s be civil one another and make this world a...
Read moreI went skating at this rink today on a school trip. I was extremely excited for this trip, and even brought my own skates. After about 30 minutes into skating, the person skating in front of me fell, and in order to get around the person, I skated in the cone area (where you aren’t supposed to skate in) for literally half a second, and cut back in to the permitted skating zone immediately. 10 seconds later, I found myself being grabbed by one of the on-ice staff. She was yelling at me to get off the ice, and repetitively grabbed my arm, which really frustrated me, especially since the only reason I went into the cone area was so I can avoid the possibility of anyone getting hurt. It did not stop there, as 2 other obnoxious staff members started grabbing me and yelling at me to get off the ice, starting a whole scene and ruining my experience. I was kicked off the ice for trying to avoid bumping into someone else. Their staff is extremely rude, and after I was kicked off the ice and went inside, the manager came up and rudely spoke to me, as if I hadn’t had enough already. All around terrible experience, horrible staff, and rude manager. I will not be skating at this rink in the future, and I recommend that you...
Read moreTotally mismanaged! The site allows you to prepay for a certain time. However, when you get to the rink, you will STILL be in a long line to get in! I had visitors from out of town - are they supposed to spend the few hours they have in NYC in line? So, I allowed them to play in Central Park while I waited in line. Then we got yelled at for doing that! After finally waiting for so long and getting admonished, we waited for another 30 minutes for the Zamboni. Nobody left, so it was getting even more crowded! I heard there was a long line inside for skate rentals. The kids were spent, everyone was losing their patience, and it looked like we were in for more aggravation. I should mention that this was between Christmas and New Years, which is peak time. Still, Wollman Rink should not have allowed all these tickets to be bought knowing it would be overcrowded! All the other rinks are completely booked, but I'm sure the people there are having a better experience. We ended up bagging it, after waiting so long for the Zamboni. We never got inside, but they scanned our tickets, so I'm out $305! Never going to...
