Nike Factory Store - Newark — Attraction in Newark

The other day, I decided to go to this Nike location while I had some downtime from schoolwork. Upon entering, I immediately began to receive stares and rude looks as if to suggest I was stealing. However, the looks were also the result of something that I have dealt with since my military service: facial abnormalities due to injuries sustained while serving in the United States Army. Unfortunately, it has changed my facial features and aesthetics, making me a target of constant bullying, stares, mocking, and other forms of mistreatment. When I was trying on some shoes, a security guard emerged from a door near the back of the store and started looking me up and down. This made me feel very uncomfortable and disrespected. The cashiers also could have been more professional. When it came time for me to check out, instead of calling me to the register, the cashier in the middle informed me that one of the two other cashiers would assist me, and then she just walked away. She did not appear to be in a hurry to do anything constructive; she just went to the other cashier and began a brief conversation. I will not be returning to this location, ever again. Enough is enough of being mistreated and made to feel less than whenever I go into an establishment to spend money. Parking it’s so easy either in front of the store or you can turn after the store to the right then another right then you’ll see a parking lot over there don’t worry there is enough space for parking 👍🏻👍🏻

The stuff are really nice and helpful as they direct me how to use the app for Nike as well as they’ve helped me to find a lot of options for stuff I was looking for 👌🏻

What I like about the store is fully packed I went during the weekend and weekdays and was fully packed unlike other locations you easily find whatever you are looking for👍🏻👍🏻

I had a very frustrating experience at this Nike store. The store was supposed to open at 10 AM, but they didn’t unlock the doors until 10:10 AM. I was standing outside in the rain, and not a single employee acknowledged or apologized for the delay.

Once inside, the customer service was just as disappointing. The cashier was rude and refused to even exchange on shoes that didn’t fit my child. To make matters worse, the correct size wasn’t available in-store, and I was told to order online—but at a higher price! Every other store I’ve been to allows an even exchange at the same price, so this was completely unacceptable.

Between the unprofessional staff, poor policies, and overall bad service, I won’t be shopping here again. Nike needs...
