Took some out of state family members across the Purple People Bridge to Brothers for Dinner. The restaurant was 1/2 full with a decent amount of staff. We did not order alcohol so i’d like to think my thoughts on the establishment were not from someone who had a few drinks, but from a stone cold sober person. The server did a good job, however I never got a refill on my soda. I ordered wings with bones in. The price was a bit pricey for the amount of wings I received, but I was willing to try cause I love wings. They were the worst wings I’ve had since moving out to Cincinnati. They were soggy, with no crunch, and were not very warm. The food my family got wasn’t warm at all. After immediately telling them, they took the food back. Now we had waited quite a bit for our food originally, so when the server came back in less than a minute with the food again we were quite dubious. They just reheated the food again. After eating a few bites, they stopped. I did as well with my wings. How do you screw up wings at a bar and grill? The place looked like it had a decent amount of customers so people go there. I went to the rest room and it seemed somewhat clean for a bar but the restaurant itself looked a bit dirty, so not sure what the kitchen would look like. My family talked to the server again about the food and she was polite but said they could do nothing about taking anything off the bill. My family wanted to talk to the manager who did come over but gave us the runaround. Not sure if the manager gets a lot of complaints or not but again, said they could do nothing about our bill. I now must say I haven’t been to this restaurant since moving out here right before Covid hit. My girlfriend and I liked the place at that time and this is the reason we brought our family members here. I have to believe there is new ownership now. i wish i would have read the reviews because i would have changed the restaurant selection. I figured the prices would have gone up, but with dirtiness of establishment, the food being subpar, and a manager who is not helpful to polite customers who weren't rude or buzzed, all i can say was i was embarrassed for recommending the place. So, to all future patrons who want a great meal to go along with a great view all i can say is BEWARE. After reading Reviews id hesitate to go back again. Disappointed...

The service was way to slow. The girl got out drink orders and waited forever for the drinks. We tried to get her attention to order but apparently she didn't hear us. We waited quite a while and finally she took out order. We got the sampler. It was pretty good. Fried pickles, chicken tenders, wiscon cheese curds, and chicken cheese nachos. Both of us did not care much for the nachos. It was alright, just nothing more than that (for me) and my gal really didn't like the flavor. After we finished we once again waited forever and on the fly by our waitress asked if we needed the check. Yes, we replied. Once again the wait went on for a long time. Finally she dropped it off and said she would take it when we were ready. I got out my card and yet again the wait. After 10 minutes I put my card away, left all the cash I had plus a small tip. I always try to do 20% regardless of service, but as we were now running late she ended up with about 12% as that was all the cash I had. As we walked out our waitress was on the other side of the restaurant rolling silverware in napkins
It should be noted that we both had seen other people with other waitresses also having slow service. It wasn't just our server. Food was good but nothing was anything you couldn't get at another restaurant. Add the service... I'll probably spend my cash and time somewhere else. Of course it may have been a bad day or short staffed. If you go it's not a bad place, but for one drink and appetizer... I don't want to spend 90...
Read moreNot sure how long the servers get to greet tables, but more than 5 minutes is a little much to me. Our server was polite but definitely seemed upset when I asked a drink to be removed from my bill because I didn’t drink it nor want it. I took full responsibility for ordering my drink without a salt rim by accident but when I addressed it to my waitress and asked for it to be remade she brought me my exact same drink just in a glass with no rim and didn’t even care to explain to me that the bar would not remake it. I could already tell because it was at the same amount when i gave her the drink but I decided to taste the drink anyway. Once i expressed to her that I was still unhappy she told me that “the bar would not remake it with it being an alcoholic beverage,” and that “it probably can’t be taken off the bill because it’s alcohol.” I simply told her that I did not even drink the beverage so I didn’t understand why not. She said she’d ask and brought us back the check and asked if we wanted boxes. She never addressed that the issue was fixed and seemed upset by the situation. I’m a waiter as well and simply expect better hospitality. I don’t see the issue in remaking a drink if the customer is unhappy with it. The only reason why I didn’t ask to have a bare rim was because when I looked around the restaurant I just seemed to only see plastic cups so I assumed my drink wouldn’t...
