Overpriced and the lady who works there is very rude. You have to put your order in on an ipad and not speak to her, which is not at all posted anywhere and if you ask her any questions she will rudely respond if she does at all. I thought my order was missing something so I didn't touch it because I didn't want her to refuse to alter it since I would have already taken it...she more or less turned the plate around and threw it towards me in an attempt to show me that the additive was actually on there instead of just saying that. And all this negativity even after I tipped her. I came here twice since I was in the area for two days, gave her the benefit of the doubt the first time but the second time was worse so I'm not going to chalk it up to she was having a bad day when it was repetitive and on separate days. It's a shame it's in the center of such a beautiful area on the levee. My husband and I planned our next trip to Newport but we will not be returning to this place. It being in a touristy spot must be why it's still there, bc most of these reviews say they won't be coming back. Really glad I didn't let it ruin my vacation but I'm sure it will affect somebody else...
Read moreReally disappointed in both the food and the customer service. I love crêpes and was excited to try this place. When we first walked up, nobody was at the counter and we were very confused. A woman was sitting back in a corner in a chair and grunted/motioned towards the Square point of sale kiosk, and after a few seconds we realized we had to enter in the order ourselves. Which, ok fine, COVID concerns, understandable. We tried to ask her what was good/her favorite and she really did not seem enthused to share any information about the food, let alone talk to us. The food itself was not great and definitely would not consider it authentic Belgian or even French crêpes or anything close. To top it all off, the “condiments” area on the food truck was disgusting - think sticky syrup bottles, forks piled into a bowl for people to freely grab - so much for Covid/sanitary precautions. Would not recommend and...
Read moreGrabbed a dog on the way to the Reds game yesterday. I ordered a Norway, and man I wasn't disappointed.
The hot dogs are robust and have a really good flavor. The toppings were delicious and were of generous portions. This hot dog was massive. I didn't realize why they offered me a fork, knife, and napkins until after I received it.
It's pricey, but honestly, it isn't a bad value when take into account how big it is. For the $10 I paid, I'm more than satisfied.
My only issue is it took a while to make. Not sure why, but it was roughly 10-15 mins for them to make my Norway dog. Thankfully the game was delayed a bit due to weather. But otherwise, I would have missed the first inning.
But other than that, this was a great experience.
Will I be...
