Beeline - Newport on the Levee — Restaurant in Newport

Kinda just drove here on a whim. The bartender greeted us right away. My two friends from Florida were visiting. It was hard to find any parking. We paid $6 in the garage about a block away. The area is beautiful and the day was amazing. We got sweet potatoes, cheese burger and something with jalapenos. We weren't there long price reasonable. Drinks were average. It was empty when we got there. The crowd entering was between 40 & 60 I'd say. It was very casual, clean with lots of memorabilia to keep your attention. After we walked around the little town on top of the hill. It was mixed with very interesting modern and old historical houses. The church was holding a wedding rehearsal. They were quite cool and let my friend, Tonda go inside to view the large brick and stain glass church that sat atop of the hill. Great view. My wife and I stopped into Beeline this weekend for some drinks before our dinner reservations and we loved the place!

Starting with the ambience of the place, we loved the vibe it was giving off! Everything from the decor to the garage doors opening up the whole restaurant! It had a really great feel to it. It definitely didn’t feel like you were in Newport! The drinks were also excellent! Most of them were a tropical or more summery type. I got the Derail which is a spicy pineapple margarita. We rented the Queens Quarters for my sister's surprise 40th bday. Booking and planning was super easy. Staff was great. We used their catering thru Thunderdome and chose Bakersfield OTR. TONS of food. Take home containers. Everything was fresh and delish. Bartenders were attentive and provided outstanding service. Everything went as planned. She was surprised!
