I was referred to Theresa by my personal trainer after an injury that had held back my running for most of last year started to flare up again. My doctor was unable to diagnose the issue over several appointments but Theresa pinpointed the root cause of my pain in our first appointment and recommended a routine of exercises that has enabled me to get back to the activities and level of fitness that I was unable to maintain over the past year.
Theresa's in-depth knowledge and expertise in sports-related injuries was evident from the get-go, as she conducted a thorough assessment and asked insightful questions. Her ability to identify and address the underlying issue was truly remarkable after a year of dead-ends, and I felt confident that I was in the right hands. Theresa demonstrated a genuine interest in understanding the root cause of my pain and getting me past it.
As a result, I've been able to dramatically improve my fitness over the past several months. The pain that once plagued me during and after my runs has been greatly reduced and continues to improve. I feel stronger and more resilient than I have in some time.
When a new back injury occurred more recently that was impacting my running, I went to Theresa as soon as I realized it wasn't improving. Once again, she was able to determine the cause of my pain in a single appointment and give me a plan to keep me running as the injury healed.
I wholeheartedly recommend Theresa to anyone who is looking for answers and a path back to enjoying the physically demanding activities...
Read moreOkay, so I am not being over-dramatic when I say that Theresa gave me my life back. You're going to pay a little extra out of pocket for her but every penny will add magnitudes of value compared to the competition.
I came in with an embarrassingly long list of problems. Broken neck, knee pain from an old meniscus injury, back pain from an old disc injury, elbow pain from overuse and fractured radial head, shoulder stiffness from a rotator cuff injury, and I know I'm even missing a few. My body was out of balance and had muscle areas that were still weak from atrophies from previous injuries. Theresa broke down each area of concern and gave me practical exercises to address each specific concern. She demonstrated incredible knowledge and experience in her field. The app she utilizes for exercises was extremely helpful with videos and reminders to keep me on track. She also helped me with a running analysis that greatly decreased knee pain that I was experiencing on long runs and helped me to finish my first 25 mile trail race this summer. I am pain free, feeling strong and balanced for the first time in I don't know how many years, and am back and feeling comfortable with high impact sports like downhill mountain biking and skiing. Theresa was worth everything and more than I paid and I am extremely grateful for...
Read moreI have had an amazing experience working with Theresa. She has helped me tremendously during my recovery from a running overuse shin injury, and I've been successfully increasing my running time and mileage pain free. I've always been historically bad at following PT regimens because they never quite felt like they fit my unique sports needs, but Theresa has helped me find a routine that is both beneficial and enjoyable because I've been able to see so much progress from it. I've gotten significantly stronger over our time working together and can feel my lower body stability improve over time. While I went to see her for a running injury, she has also helped me work on ski specific strength, and I've never felt better skiing uphill or downhill in my life. I couldn't believe my endurance on my first 3k uphill or inbounds pow day this year. I just wasn't sore in the way I usually am early season and my ski legs were always there for me. My ski form has vastly improved now that I have the strength to back up my technical knowledge. Continuing to work with Theresa has been one of the best decisions I've made for myself and my outdoor hobbies, and I can't wait to see how far I can go while...
