I came here to fix my white nails that had make up stains on them. I received a full gel manicure yesterday from a different salon, so I just needed them to help me with the stains. Also, the stains were minor, it couldāve been easily corrected. I informed the receptionist and the guy doing my nails, that I did not want a new set (since i got it done the day before). I just needed him to fix the nails that had the little stains on them. He said okay and started using the machine on my nails. I thought he was using the machine to buff off the stains, but he ended up buffing all the nails - taking most of the polish off. It wasnāt until he pulled out the cotton swabs and acetone that I realized something was wrong. So I asked him what he was doing with those, and he said, taking off your gel set. I asked him why and he said itās because of the stains that I had on my nails. I then reminded him that I told him before he started, that I did not want to take off all of the gel. my current gel manicure was only a day old. Also if he couldnāt fix my nails without taking everything of, he shouldāve told me in advance. That way i wouldāve refused the service. I then asked him what he could do now, since he buffed off most of the gel and he said he would have to do a new set. I replied with if I would have to pay for that and he said yes $30. Which got me upset because I already spent $60 the day before on my nails. and I wasnāt trying to pay an additional cost, when all I wanted to do was fix the gel nails I already had on. He then started apologizing profusely for the misunderstanding, and ask what I wanted to do. I then told him to finish taking off the gel from my nails so I could leave. Also two employees proceeded to come up to me as I was soaking my nails and asked me what happened. To which I told them, that it was not explained to me that he would have to take off my full gel set. And that I told him from the beginning that I did not want to take anything off. They then gaslighted me and ask me how did I expect them to fix it without taking everything off? To which I replied, that if I was told this as soon as I came in, I wouldāve never got the service done. That it was the employee doing my nails, who went ahead and decided to take everything off without my consent. The receptionist then said that she will only charge me for the soak off, which I didnāt even want in the first place. so I ended up coming in with a gel set and leaving with nothing on my nails. Iāve never been more disappointed because I used to come here regularly. The least that the salon couldāve done was offer to repaint my nails without charge, since they are the ones who made the mistake. But I just paid the $10...

She even got glue in my eyes. They looked wonky and I wasnāt happy with them, but she had spent almost an hour applying them and I was ready to go at that point so I left. The following morning, one of the lashes fell off as I was (gently) washing my face, even though I avoided my eye area. She had told me they would last up to 2 weeks, but they didnāt even last 24 hours. I contacted the salon a couple hours later when they opened and some to a man named Son. I explained what had happened and he told me to come in and he would fix them. I arrived shortly after, and he applied a new set of strips. I tipped him generously, despite the fact that I had already paid for this service and tipped $15 the first time. Upon arriving at home, my roomate pointed out that my lashes looked wonky and when I looked in the mirror I could see how bad they looked (see attached photo). Within 12 hours they began to lift off my lash line in the outer corner. Unbelievable! I called Son once again and he began to explain that this ānever happensā, etc etc. I asked if I could have credit for another service, and he told me heās ānot the owner, the owner is out of the country, and heāll reach out to him for a solution and get back to me.ā Well, he didnāt get back to me. I wasted over $100 on their awful lash service, tipping, and the Ubers I had to take to the salon because my car is in the shop. Iām warning you to avoid this salon because they will keep your money and do not stand behind their services. Iām very angry and disappointed. While having facial treatments I took off my jewelry and placed it in the side pocket of my purse. Itās a 18K gold chain with a hand sculpted cross with Jesus Christ on the cross, One of a kind custom-made, Family heirloom. Needless to say it holds incredible significance for me. While having a facial mask on completely covering my eyes, I heard the door open and close during my treatment. When I was ready to leave my purse was laying on its side. Iām not a suspicious person so I NEVER thought to check that my necklace was still in my purse. After I got home I realized it was gone. Iāve checked everywhere else⦠questioning myself before I suspect others any wrongdoing. When I reported the loss to the owner of this business, he of course just shrugged his shoulders and seemed very unconcerned. As an employee working in the healthcare industry myself, people trust me to keep them safe as well as their personal belongings while they are being cared for. Unfortunately, I do not feel safe with my purse or belongings while going to this business, And neither should anybody else. It only takes one employee to put everybodyās safety at risk. Unfortunately, there is somebody at this business who is putting the customers personal items at risk. That is a basic principal for business practice, To keep your customers and their personal belongings safe while they are receiving services.
