Northville Cigar Lounge — Attraction in Northville

WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!

I am a seasoned cigar smoker and enjoy checking out many cigar lounges although I am a VIP member at several reputable cigar bars. I spend a lot of money on Fine Cigars, therefore, it's only fair for me to feel the cigar because if it is rolled too soft or too hard it does not smoke correctly, and not only does the feel make a difference, I also believe that it is necessary to take a small sniff as well.

When I was inside the humidor at Northville Cigar Lounge I felt extremely disrespected when I was handed a telephone from Courtney (who was very nice) telling me that the owner Gary wanted to talk to me after he had been watching me on camera. Gary rudely asks me to stop putting the cigars up to my mouth and I responded that I would never do that and I was simply taking a sniff. He asked if I would purchase a cigar after someone else put the cigar to their mouth and again I said I was only taking a sniff but apparently Gary thinks that is the same thing. Gary needs to have respect for customers and it is very pathetic that he watches us like a hawk and worse assume someone is doing something they are not!

Gary, I hope that you read this because I want you to know that you have lost me as a customer and WILL SPREAD THE WORD AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE... By the way, is this the answer you were...

Great spot! My buddy was shocked that they had a very rare fuentes fuentes opus X. I was impressed with a few rare selections myself. The owner was extremely cool...usually sits by the humidor, and happy to help. I could tell, "this guy knows cigars", he had a wealth of knowledge of everything in his humidor. The bartender was friendly, and the selection of hard liquor was a little larger than your typical cigar bar, this is good! At first, I was a little bummed that they didn't have craft beers, but I didn't realize till I left, that there's a brewery down the street (would be a pointless business strategy), but what is on tap is good...I had an Alaskan...never had it, it was REALLY good. One of the best cigar establishments I’ve ever been into!! Betsy was amazing!! She went above and beyond to make sure my friends and I had an enjoyable experience! Our drinks were refilled immediately without having to ask, our ashtrays were cleaned and we were even thanked for stopping by! Betsy is a great representation on how well this place is run!!! The humidor was stocked with excellent choices with equally great prices (no price gouging here)! I’ve driven by the Northville Cigar Lounge several times and I’m happy I finally made the time to come in not only once, but twice today (10-3-22)!!
