the pool is clean, easy to access and use. i'm a little disheartened by how staff communicate. i came with my sister and nephew. i wore a thong bathing suit. i understand how that can make people uncomfortable, so i wasn't surprised when the lifeguard approached me and asked me to cover my bottom. she said "maam, could you please cover your bottom." i just said "okay." then she continued with "...maybe with some shorts or something." which is pretty obvious. again, i just said okay. then she said "and maybe next time, wear something more modest." this is upsetting because i'm almost 30 years old, i don't need to be told how to dress. i can use my deductive reasoning not to wear this bathing suit here again. it was also upsetting because there was a middle-aged woman 50 feet away who was wearing something that looked like something an exotic dancer would wear, yet i'm being told "to dress more modestly." for me, it wasn't what she said but how she said it. my private parts were not hanging out... they are just butt cheeks, dude. don't make me feel like i need to wear a scarlet A on my chest. especially when i wasn't...
Read more2nd time there and it was hard to swim, seems like no matter what we did, "you cant do that". "You have to leave this part of the pool.", Originally I was in the bigger pool inside swimming at 7month pregnant and I have to pace myself. Had to use the lap side since the main open area I couldnt swim much due to over half the pool blocked off for the diving board. I stopped in the shallow end after swimming 2 laps so I can breath, lifeguard told me I had to leave the lane if I wasn't going to keep swimming laps. I WAS TAKING A SMALL BREATHER, I HAVE A CHILD GROWING IN ME WHOS IN MY RIBS! I had also watched the young female lifeguard not allowing certain people on the diving board ontop of that DISTRACTED by a young man and talking to him for nearly 20 minutes not paying attention to the water. When they shut down the outside pool due to someone puking and everyone came in to use the inside, the therapy pool was almost shoulder to shoulder and no lifeguard was...

With the Covid I've only just returned to try out a class called Move & Groove. I had been taking classes with Zoom. The above class is a fun class that Angie (an instructor) shows steps. Then the steps are put to music. Weights and tubing are used with some of the class. It's a fun class and you get a good workout with some laughs too.
