Gaitway Plaza — Attraction in Ocala

This Review is for "Gaitway Plaza." It is a shopping mall, outdoor mall, with inadequate parking, & some really nice stores, & a couple of eateries (three of which I can't---as a Celiac---eat at because they don't offer gluten free food). The only place I can eat at, is Stone Cold Creamery, which has some GF options. Love Ice Cream so it works for me. Bed Bath & Beyond has a nice store here, with lots of nice stuff, & too little staff to be able to help you. Staff that IS there are willing, but often there are only two or three people in entire store Leslie's Pool Store has a lot of neat stuff, fairly knowledgeable staff, & helpful too. Michael's is nice store, again short on staff, but if you know your way around, you can find some really nice & neat stuff. The plaza has poor access from, & out to SR 200, like everything that fronts it directly, because of the speeds (45 mph) on SR 200. Coming into it or out to 27th is also poor. Congested area...not the Plaza's fault...just...

The mall needs more patrols around it. People need to slow down they zoom through there. I had a lady come up to me in the parking lot crying & saying she needed $3.00 for bus fair she said she was on a job interview & got the job, she was not dirty looking, & clean well dressed so me being from a small town in Missouri where we know every one, I gave it to her and said God bless you & Good Luck. .........Well I guess her job was panhandling . as I was leaving the parking lot I seen her next to a white truck by an elderly couple. I pulled up to her. & said " wasn't my $3.00 enough for a bus ticket just as the gentleman was putting his wallet back in his pocket. His wife leaning out the other door yelling at the girl to come back, I guess they knew better than I did. After a few chose words I drove off mad. & my son had to stop me from going back to get my money back. Sad world when people have a talent to scam people. Why don't they put some of that to good use, Sorry...

Gateway Plaza , TJ maxx,, Ross, Michael's, Sally's Bed Bath Beyond , Dollar Tree and Carters for the little ones just to name a few of the best stores in Ocala !! If this was the only place I could ever shop I would be good with that, The best of the best stores Tj Maxx has all my clothing needs for hubby and I , plus all my personal fun stuff great hair care items with the very best of brands like Matrix, Nexxus , 10 and the fun make up like bare Minerals, Shiseido , Morphed, just to name a few and much more all at a fraction of Dept. Store prices .. and Ross another great store like TJ Maxx with clothing , house ware and great pet products for your baby .. Michael's has all your arts and craft needs for the entire family. Can't say enough about this Plaza. When your done shopping and your hungry enjoy the many food places to grab some lunch or the best ice cream ever at one of the many food...
