Lowering my rating. I would never enter this place if my wife didn't ask for it.
We visited again. This time, the floor was clean, but they got our simple order wrong. On top of this, the bun on my wife's burger was cold, and the fries were lukewarm and old.
If you charge a lot, you have to have very high standards. This place has much lower standards than other burger joints.
Five Guys restaurants used to be packed all the time. Now there is rarely a line, and you can sit where you want. The prices and low standards will kill this location. Their food costs are the same as McDonald's, but they charge much more.
I threw out half of my burger.
Old review:
Over $40 for two people, self-service, and they have the gall to make the card machine ask me for a tip, in front of the cashier. They also have a tip jar. I don't tip cashiers.
Tipping is not for fast food. It's parasitic and annoying. I don't like being stared at while I select the "no tip" option, which I do. When I receive service, you get 20%+. When you hand me a bag, a tip is inappropriate. They don't even pick up the trash for customers. What is the tip for? Enough with the entitlement.
The food was fine, and the staff was nice but very lazy. There were grease and food crumbs on the tables even though business was very slow. Pick up a rag and do something. Don't wait for complaints.
Also, clean the restrooms some day. It's not illegal.
Can't give five stars for the food. They don't keep the soda...
Read moreReally need to teach your staff. Way too expensive as usual... 1 little burger, 1 bacon little burger, 2 hot dogs, 1 small fry, small drink, medium fry, large fry, 2 large drinks = $57 and change. $20 more and could have gone to Outback or Texas Roadhouse.
I specifically asked if the hot dogs are split down the middle. I was told NO unless you want them to be. I said NO absolutely not. He laughed and said ok. I also asked to not toast the bun.
Got them and they were not taosted. They were split down the middle. I went up and told the first girl that I said not to split them. Then this other woman came out and without hesitation said that's how we cook them. I told her I asked and was told that is not how they are cooked unless I want them that way. The she repeats "well that's how we cook them unless you ask." Again explained that I did ask and was told they are not cut. Without a care just looked at me and said "That's how we cook them unless you ask." Again explained that I did and said I do not want them split. Then I just got a blank stare.
I then heard them talking what I believe was about me because they kept looking at me.
If that was a manager working for me she would be immediately demoted.
No apology. No offer to make it right.
Threw them out and went to Firehouse Subs which I really hate but they made ...
Read moreBrought our family of 5 in. We were on a short schedule. So ordered ahead along with payment and tipped.. The order was made completely wrong. Tried to have the staff adjust but they had absolutely no interest. And acted as if they had no idea what I was talking about. Tho I brought up the receipt and explained. They offered me sauces after bringing it to their attention, tho sauce had nothing to do with what I was trying to have fixed. I paid for bacon burgers with onions, mushrooms, and fresh toppings and had only mayo on it. When I brought it to their attention she offered me side sauces After constantly repeating that our toppings were missing. So I went and sat down, waited to see if she’d try and make it right.. but nothing. and went ahead and ate as we had to leave in a few. After sitting for 30 minutes they brought out toppings for us which at that point was completely pointless.. someone offered us a $10 voucher as an apology. Which is pointless as we spent over $100. If you’re looking for a better burger, made correctly, and at a better cost I’d make my way down to Red Robin instead. Staff is working on minimum skills, and social skills need major...
