These women are Angels! I was on the hunt for a specific dress. I had no idea that ordering a dress could take up to 6/8 months. My wedding was 7 months away. I live in Palm Springs and the few bridal shops that had connections with the designer were at least an hour away. Every other shop required that I come in to get sized before they bothered to give me their time. Despite being young naive and on a budget . Erica treated me with such grace. She spent almost an hour on the phone looking up prices and finding similar dresses to ease my panic incase the estimated arrival of my dress was cutting it too close. She suggested I order that dress asap and get sized first at my nearest convenience instead of wasting time having to drive to them. I gave her my measurements (normally I’m a size 2) but she determined I’d be between a size 4 or 6 because the sizing of these dresses are different and usually run smaller then they sound (which no other shop mentioned) A size 4 was an estimated 6 months but the size 6 arrived in 4 weeks! We pulled the trigger on January Friday the 13th and went for the size 6,if it was big I’d have plenty of time to get it altered)

The dress arrived and the day to go with all my girls had come 🥂! It was a beautiful experience Miss Tina and Erica were so sweet. Despite being 30 minutes late they received me and my 8 girls, my newborn niece and my 10 year old niece with a hug. They accommodated all of us. Champagne for the adults and sparkling for the kids and the pregnant breast feeding mommy’s. I’m pretty sure we went over our time limit but never felt rushed! Erica took her time trying on different veil looks and taking 100 pictures for us. My dress thankfully fit like a glove! Working with Tina from Natty Bella was one of the best experiences I had while wedding planning! I came to her with a dress from another shop and needed a detailed modesty piece. She listened to my concerns so patiently and made me feel seen and important. From my previous experience with another alterations team, I felt that there was no good solution to my problem. I worried that I would end up being disappointed with the neckline.

Tina astonished me.

She resurrected my hopes and was a joy to work with. Each time I went in for an appointment she made me feel like a princess. She let me be particular about the exact placement and shape of my modesty piece. What was so refreshing is how creative and experienced she was with building a dress's shape. I did not have to do the work of finding out what I wanted -- she showed me what could be done and gave me more several options.

So what did she do? She took a plunging V neck and transformed it into a sweetheart neckline. She used the fabric from my hem to make it match and added matching lace and beadings. Now that it's done you cannot even tell that it has been added. The shape is so much sweeter than the original design. Never -- while researching modesty pieces -- did I see an example that looked as seamless as what she did.

On top of that, she did some quick fixes where the the dress had been snagged. She helped me brainstorm how to keep my long train off the ground and gave me finger loops for dancing.

What really struck me about Tina was her professionalism. She never once put down the other alteration team, even though I was disappointed with their options. She has trained seamstresses in the past and knows the industry well. I respect her so much for how she speaks of her competitors.

I could not have even DREAMED of a better dress shopping experience than I had with Natty Bella Bridal. I had my first ever bridal consultation with Evelyn and she made me feel so safe, comfortable, and cared for each step of the way as I was unsure of styles I wanted to try. My mom, grandma, MIL, and MOH and I all could not stop gushing about her service and there wasn’t really that care/attention at the other shops I visited afterwards.

When I found “the dress” at another shop (even holding the sign), my entire family and I kept saying we wished it had happened at Natty Bella. My mom encouraged me to reach back out and send a link of the dress in case they carried it and the next morning Evelyn sent me similar styles if I wanted to try them out. We all giggled like little girls coming back to the shop, excited to be back inside Natty Bella. While in the dressing room, Evelyn encouraged me again to follow my gut, and that she was happy for me no matter what dress I chose. That’s the type of shop this is, pouring love to ALL brides even if they don’t end up with a dress there. Turns out THE DRESS was hidden under our nose the whole time! Tried it on and we were all shocked to find we loved it EVEN more than the other. We all said it was meant to be!
