On Wednesday, July 23, 2016 at 4:00, we came into the office beacuse we try to get our 5 dollars back from a broken pepsi vending machine as directed by the pepsi customer service. we walked in to the manager office, explain the situation to the lady(forgot to get her name). She said she can only give us $1.50, I explained to her we talked to pepsi and they told us to come and get the money from the manager office. Then, the lady started to tell me this" I DONT KNOW IF YOU REALLY PUT FIVE DOLLARS OR TEN DOLLARS IN, ANYBODY CAN COME IN AND TELL ME THEY PUT FIVE DOLLARS IN." (at least three times). And she say she is autorized to only give $1.50. But because she doesnt have $0.50 so she gave us $2.00. We took the $2.00. But I start to get mad and upset by her attitude, money is not the point here now. I called pepsi again and the Vending Sales manager said he doesnt understand why wouldnt she gaive my money back because they will pay the manager office (the agreement in between them). he is gonna call and talk to the lady. So I walked back into the Mall Manager office again. The lady told me "oh! he didnt tell me to give the five dollars back, he said they will come back tomorrow to see if there is 5.00 in there." "It‘s only three dollars!!!!, if you are happy to walk away the three dollars I will give you the three dollars".
To the Manager Office front desk lady, You are saying " I dont trust what you told me", "you are lying" by keep saying I DONT KNOW IF YOU REALLY PUT FIVE DOLLARS OR TEN DOLLARS IN, ANYBODY CAN COME IN AND TELL ME THEY PUT FIVE DOLLARS IN. And with your "right" you are only "authorized" to pay 1.50 but because you dont have 0.50 so you paid 2.00 so as customer I should feel lucky for it! And now because I fight for it, you can pay 3.00 to make me walk away. This only tells me, this is how yiu procedure and authorized to do: 1.you walked in to the office, you get $1.50 2.if you are lucky, you get 2.00 when she doesnt have coin. if you fight for it you can 5.00
It‘s not about the money here now, it is about your attitude, it‘s the way how you take care and handle the problem. You should ask which machine was broken to put a broken sign not just startinf being so suspecious about I am lying or not. So I highly sugessted you get more training for customer serverce.
To pepsi: if you cannot help solve the problem by the number they provide on the vending machine they should put a note "PLEASE USE IT AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!"
ONCE AGAIN, IT‘S NOT BECAUSE OF MONEY! IT‘S THE WAY HOW TO TAKE CARE AND HANDLE...
Read moreBest mall for kids. Here are the highlights of the Newgate Mall: The movie theater has big leather chairs and fills the air with the wonderful smell of popcorn. There's a Greek restaurant in the food court that's been there for over 20 years and is one of my all time favorite Greek places. There's an Eddie Bauer with the softest blankets and best winter coats. On the south side is a playground for the little kids that has the softest floor. Plus they have ride on animals that you can rent and are a ton of fun. Not only that there's a train and it's pretty inexpensive. Sit in one of the coin operated massage chairs or get an Asian massage. Sees candy, one of my favorite chocolate shops has a store so be sure to get some molasses chips, California Brittle or Scotch kisses. -There's a supercuts (I think that's right), a nail place and a threading place. -You can get your ears pierced at the tattoo shop as well as Clair's and another jewelry kiosk.
The downsides are that the mall has a lot of closed shops. I can't guarantee any of the things I mention will still be there when you read this review. The food options besides the Greek place are good to ok.
If you like bars the one near one of the entrances is usually hopping on weekends.
Since it's so close this is our go to place to go on a date or take our daughter to play when the weather is bad. There's a trampoline park across the street that we want...
Read moreThe emptiness and lack of decor make it feel like an indoor industrial warehouse with too much fluorescent blue light no greenery water nothing the make it feel welcoming or make you feel encoring. Some modern furniture scattered about so there is plenty of seating, but the whole look and feel of the interior is cold and so bland it’s so boring it’s like some old airport corridors. It’s a sad empty place inside and out. If it weren’t for Dillard’s and the Theater, we would never never go there. The food court has terrible food, they put in a huge modern wall with s tiny fireplace at the bottom but it’s still too industrial and cold feeling - this place is dying for large indoor trees, creative lighting and water scapes, something to show interest. It’s called “feng shui”. Please hire a professional some not local or amateur from the utah area - it could be so much nicer if there were some life some trees or green in the huge ugly parking lots and especially inside. It’s so cold and unhappy feeling. I dead having to go there. It’s truly unfortunate. Malls are supposed to be a fun place - not with those silly kids trains - a place adults the ones with money want to go and feel it’s nice enough to just be there, not the depressing way it looks now. Don’t decorate for teenagers and tots. Put some class and life into that poor area. Photos to come — it’ll be obvious why this mall looks like it’s in...
