Vera Bradley Outlet — Attraction in Oklahoma City

I have loved the OKC outlet for a long time and been a regular customer of Vera Bradley for years. But the last time I went they had taken the prices off of every item in store and replaced regular price tags with a QR app. This is incredibly inconvenient when trying to compare multiple items and choose. It also seems very dishonest… they can change the price at a drop of the hat… post a big sale but raise the prices and many will never know because the original price is not listed. A few items I looked at and scanned did appear higher in price than they were the previous time I had went. Quite honestly it makes me not want to go back… it made shopping so much more difficult. And now o completely doubt the honesty of the company. Bring back regular price tags and I will become regular customer once again. Until then I will be looking for a new go to bag/purse company.

Update to response: If you have to scan every item you are looking at it is not easier but rather more difficult and time consuming. If this is on the up and up and they aren’t trying to get away with raising prices before a sale why don’t they keep the price on each item as well. When I went in they had literally taken the time to go through and cut the price off the bottom of each tag. Why? Because. They have to to be dishonest about pricing...

I recently visited the Vera Bradley outlet for the first time in a while, and I was incredibly disappointed. The store's decor has shifted from cute and inviting store where I would buy all my gifts to more of a warehouse feel, It seems they may have had a management change because the service has noticeably declined.

During my visit, the employees were quite rude. I unfolded a beach towel to get a better look, and two staff members just staring intensely at me from the cash wrap without ever approaching me. Additionally, despite presenting my military ID card, they refused to accept it because it wasn't on their new website they are now using for identification. NO EXCEPTIONS. It is very frustrating to shop independently at this location lately. All retail pricing are removed from the information tags on each item. For instance if the Dog Show large duffel bag is 70% off, I do not know what original price it is 70% off of. So, you have to walk it up to the scanner at the front of the store. There are signs of the marked down prices throughout the store, but once again all of the pricing information is removed form individual items. However, the staff is friendly and there is a nice, rotating selection. It was easy to make a return for my unused item.
