Academy of Nail Design — Attraction in Omaha

I should have listened to the to all the reviews about Susan/Sue being rude but I decided to give this place a try. Rude I can handle. But besides being rude she is highly uneducated and unknowledgeable about how to probably use the products. I wanted gold chrome on two nails and black gloss cheetah print over black matte on the other three nails. Tyra did a nice job on the fill and matte. She was very polite and detailed. I believe she will be a great nail artist. Susan incorrectly told her how to apply the chrome. I have had chrome nails off and on for the last couple of years and I know for a fact that it is supposed to have a smooth appearance. Mine looks like gritty like glitter. Sue argued with me that this is the way that it is supposed to look. Sue also did the design on my nails. I told her that I wanted black gloss over matte. But she used clear top coat gel to make the design. It looks HIDEOUS!!!! She is very rude and difficult to talk to because she believes that her way is the only way. After she taxed me for the gel, the designs and chrome it came out to as much or more than a professional nail artist who knows what they are doing would charge. If you just want very basic nails this maybe a okay place to go. Other wise save your money and go to someone who knows what...

I started school in August and I have made the best decision in my career. Sue is the best teacher and makes you feel comfortable. I have learned so much and have the confidence now to be one of the best in this field! She sits down with you one on one and makes sure you are doing it correctly and have fun at the same time! She has taught me everything I need to know down to buying products to helping me find a job! If you are interested in this for your career then you picked the right school....

Between the kit, the products she provides and her teaching you'll leave here in good shape!
