Sammy's Barbershop — Attraction in Orland Township

I'm not one to give small businesses a bad rap, and additionally, I understand that independent contractors shouldn't speak for the whole business, but spend your money elsewhere. I got a cut and shave, no line no wait by a gentleman who was on the phone practically the entire cut. Barely asked what I wanted and decided to do his own thing at the end when I specifically told him to avoid areas. The shop was filthy, and with nobody else there I was shocked. The barber breathed with cigarette breath directly on my face the entire time, dropped clippers, and lost blades. On top of which, no sign of blade disinfectant was to be seen, and I immediately broke out with the worst acne Ive had in months the next day around the straight razor marked edges. Great haircut experience for kids! Took my kid here for a haircut and it was awesome. The place is clean and super kid-friendly. The barber was really patient and gentle, which helped my child feel relaxed the whole time. The haircut turned out perfect—exactly how we wanted it. I also liked how friendly and professional everyone was. Fast service but still took their time to do it right. We’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a good kids’ barber

I loved the quiet and cleanliness of Sammy's shop. It was not crowded. I got a front row seat. Plenty of parking.

This was my 1st time here. Sammy is a really nice guy, willing to share tidbits to help with beard grooming. He recommended that I try having my beard dyed with a natural Henna product. I was pleasantly surprised with the result. And so was my wife. Be sure to shower to wash out the dye after about 30 minutes.
