Worst nightclub experience ever! And I do mean EVER.
It was a Friday night at 10:45 and they have this little trick where they won't tell you how many people are up at the club even though they charged a 17$ cover. After paying the cover and getting up to the roof there were only about 15 people in the place and 90% were dudes. No big deal I was meeting up with a girl who had said earlier in the day she might be headed there to entertain a client with some people.
Get there and order a round of Jameson shots and one green tea shot for my friend. Not a hard order to screw up and to their credit the green tea actually came out good (hence the one star rating).
So, about 30 min goes by and drink service is lacking. We are behind the VIP rope and not ONE drink person has made their way over, we keep having to walk to the bar to get any service. After doing so I suggested to the group that we get bottle service and I'll pay for it. They tell me $250 and ask me what I want with it. I tell them two red bull, three pineapple, and cran, and be sure the bottle is Kettle One.
Fast Forward... 30 min go by, nothing. There are at this point 25 patrons in the club now and honestly nearly as much staff as patrons, but NONE of them are doing much but standing around. Like I said, my friend is entertaining a client who was in from out of town so it really didn't look good.
I walk back over to the bar and ask the girl I ordered the bottle from where it is, "it's been 30 min". She says, "not sure I'll check. What did you have with it again?". I repeated the order and stand at the bar waiting for the answer to where the bottle is, I am there about 5 min and finally the GM, Amir comes over to me and says, "I hear you are being abusive to my staff". I said, "excuse me". He says, "they are telling me that you are yelling at them about where a bottle you ordered is". I said, "you mean the one I ordered 30 min ago and it appears that they have forgotten". With that simple retort, he asks two bouncers to come over and escort me out. I said, "for what?" He says that I am being, "obnoxious". So the bouncers grab me by the arms and start escorting me out. I bounced in college so I let them know they don't have to hold my arms, I'm glad to go, and that I still have a tab open. The GM follows us downstairs and calls back upstairs for my tab. 62$ for three Jameson shots and a green tea. I tip 20$ and tell him he's made a...
Read moreI only give it a 1 star because I had to put something. Spoke with Nora who said she was a general mgr however she handled the call like an intern. Before I could tell her the issue she automatically jumped on the defense. I started to explain on Saturday night my husband and I entered the club as a guest of the VIP Birthday Girl. We were denied access by the young lady (hostess) at the door. We called the guest and she stated she only had 5 guest at her table and the waitress agreed. The hostess ask myself and my husband to stand aside along the wall. As we stood there another couple walked in and the hostess told them it was 15.00 to enter. The male guest refused and turned around to walk out it was then the hostess said wait are you a guest of someone? The guest said yes Christan the mgr. The hostess never confirmed she just asked him to be sure to fax over something the next time but she'll "let him slide this time" (privilege????) Meanwhile my husband and I are still standing along the wall and the VIP guest was standing with us by now. Here's a remedy from a real manager of Hospitality, an published National best selling author, as well as a business owner. Number 1 in reality We all know the customer isn't "always right" however your staff should learn to use better judgment. SOP 101 You never know who your entertaining so be very cautious of how you treat people. Number 2 at 1:15 a.m how much money do you really believe you losing when your club closes at 2:15-2:30a.m. Number 3 The City of Orlando is growing rapidly and the state of your existence is in the hands of the locals...... With that being said I think you all should step back and look at the big picture. And To Nora it would have helped if you would have showed interest in my...
Read moreI went to this place for a friend's birthday and this place was dead and boring. The bartenders were not the nicest. I bought 2 drinks at the bar outside and then 1 drink at the bar inside. I always keep my credit card receipts until they hit my statement so that I can compare the amounts and make sure there are no mistakes. Well, as it turns out these people have added tips to my the receipts, tips that I did not authorize. I contacted this place and sent pictures of my receipts. I spoke to a manager named Christian who apologized and said they were going to reimburse me for the whole two amounts charge to my credit card. 4 days later, I check my credit card and I was only reimbursed for one of the amounts. At this point I sent another email inquiring about the status of the second one and I received the most unprofessional email from the "General Manager" Nora Stoney. She said they had refunded me for more that what I deserved, she was going to look for the copies of the receipts and send them to me which she has not done, I wonder why? Could it be because she can now see the bartenders are changing the numbers on the receipts and committing fraud? She also said she would understand my urgency if the amounts were higher. I ask myself if she understands that is not a matter of how much money this establishment is stealing from me but the principle of stealing itself. I visited this place with 9 more friends and now they all now what happened. Fortunately, they all paid with cash so this did not happen to them. They will obviously not be going back and I made sure to tell all my family and friends so they never go to this place. I also filled a report with the Better Business Bureau and hopefully this stays on...
