Sportstown — Attraction in Orlando

As a customer who has been to Sportstown on multiple occasions, I must express my disappointment with the recent experience my husband and I had. Unfortunately, the lack of respect and professionalism exhibited by some of the employees has left a lasting negative impression.

During our most recent visit, we encountered an employee named Alex who treated us in an unacceptable manner. He aggressively pounded on the bathroom door and used offensive language, which was audible to a significant number of people in the vicinity. It was not immediately clear to us that the bathroom was out of order, as there was no sign and the door was unlocked. This resulted in a distressing situation that could have been avoided with better communication and signage.

As someone who comes from a family with disabilities, I am especially sensitive to situations where individuals with disabilities may be disrespected or mistreated. Unfortunately, this was the case at Sportstown during our visit. The lack of professionalism and empathy demonstrated by the employees, particularly the manager, was disappointing.

In light of our experience, my husband and I have made the difficult decision to no longer frequent Sportstown, and we will not recommend it to our friends or acquaintances. It is my hope that Sportstown takes steps to address these issues and ensure that all customers, regardless of ability or circumstance, are treated with respect and...

Finally it isn't the staff, but on several nights I've been disrespected and tonight was my birthday night and I had somebody come over to my dart section from the pool area disrespecting me as well as continuing it outside and there is no security around at all...

I've always been very respectful and minded my own business and kept to myself but this has gone on a few times now so I'm just going to leave this message here for everyone to know...

Be safe out here people are looking for trouble and they come here with a lot of negative energy, so be careful...

I'm not going to be disrespected anymore out here so it's going to reflect poorly on your venue rating and I hope you have better security for the future because that was absolutely ridiculous and I'm done with it...

The darts are only somewhat maintained and there's only one working board that has remote games 🎯

The online cricket games are four quarters but I'm not going to put in one ever again nor even bother playing pool because why would I pay money to have problems... No thanks

This is a problem waiting to happen ...

The parking is absolutely horrible too, one way in so you're cornered waiting for your aggressor to go on ahead and good thing too or there could have been a REAL issue ..

I stopped in after about 10 (edit-10years)being away. NY friends, Pablo and myself used to start off our weekend club runs here by playing some foosball, and doesn't some fair priced starter brews. There's much more to Sportstown than I have pictures of, it's really a well rounded sports bar, with many pool tables, and even an area for ping pong! My only complaint, and I'm cautious about this kind of thing because people do have bad days, is the unhappy, and unfriendly attitude of the bartender, she may have simply been having a bad day, we've all been there, but I didn't feel welcomed in the way I used to reach and every visit, I only mention it because that's something that matters to me, and something I really miss. That should have any impact on your ability to have a complete sports bar experience, with the exact ambience one would expect from a bar that's been around long before most of us were born! I do miss Lee and Vickie, but times change. Please visit this very special place and enjoy one of the most comfortable and inviting gathering...
