Hard Rock Cafe — Restaurant in Orlando

I live locally and for many years I would only visit Margaritaville out of pure familiarity. Don't get me wrong, the people and atmosphere is amazing there however, my 11 year old daughter was ready to murder me at this point. On June 26th 2025 she begged me to take her to the hard rock instead so I caved and said ok. We were sat near the bar so I could drink and that's where I fell in love with the hard rock and more importantly our amazing server Jerry! Its because of Jerry that we went back the second night and were served by another amazing server Ine I think was her name but because we wouldn't shut up about Jerry who has been there almost 30 years she had him deliver my daughter's dessert. Both amazing servers btw and she is also so deserving of praise because she was equally hilarious and deserving of such recognition for being so personable and caring of her guests. Like for real girl! You are amazing and I can't wait to see you again. But Jerry is the reason for this post. Jerry is the reason why the Hard Rock has forever earned my business as a local. That man loves his job and it shows, he truly cares about his job and if I knew him on the civilian side I know we would be close friends. His attention to detail is superb, his personal skills are amazing and he genuinely cares about the people he serves. Jerry you are an amazing man and you deserve nothing but the best. I hope the hard rock sees this and understands the true gem they have in their ranks. You are a true reflection of your leadership and you honestly should be training servers as to what the hard rock expects out of their servers because you sir are what I believe the hard rock stands for. I truly hope someone in administration sees this post and actually does something because this man is amazing and you would all be extremely stupid and foolish to not see this mans talent, especially knowing he's been with y'all for 20 some years and not be putting it to good use in a leadership role. This guy should be running the whole store for all I'm concerned, he truly loves people and honestly come on he's not getting any younger so let him rest a little please because dang, it's hard being old lol. Love you Jerry. Ps, yes the food is amazing, the liquor was flowing baby but I could care less about that. The food could have been crap as long as Jerry was there to be the coolest dude in the world. He truly earned my love and forever business, I will be back often just to see my boy and if we become friends on the personal side, so be it because he is a friend I would love to have. Hard Rock leadership, don't let this guy go! Promote, promote, promote. He should be training and teaching the future generation of hard rock servers what the hard rock name means and what this company stands for. It's time to pull him off the floor and have him behind a podium all over the world demonstrating his amazing skills so that y'all can continue being as amazing as you all truly are.

Ate here on September 14,2023 and had Becky as our waitress. I’ll say to start the review Becky was the reason the hard rock got 4 stars from me because it would be less for sure. Becky was a solid 5/5 stars she was attentive very friendly and even catered to our custom request while still tending quite a few other tables that woman did not stop moving but she had the biggest smile on her face with positivity and hospitality. Now to the food, this is where the review breaks down for a minute because I ordered the smokehouse bbq combo and got a plate of half rack of baby back ribs and pork. The plate originally comes with fries and coleslaw but I requested mashed potatoes and the kitchen messed up and gave me loaded cheese fries. The ribs while tender and moist the flavor was beyond overwhelmed by the yellow mustard. When I took my first bite it was a mouthful of mustard and I understand the binder is mustard but dang that was something else. In other portions of the ribs I got to taste their bbq sauce but it was once again followed by a mouth full of mustard. I then moved onto the pulled pork and the meat was tender and juicy but I’m not sure what they did in the kitchen but the base mustard was so powerful it off set the bbq and all the other flavors. Now I did eat all my food as we had a 14 hour day in universal studios and I was exhausted but I will definitely have to give this Hard Rock Cafe location another try on the meats because it definitely wasn’t where it’s suppose to be in the flavor department. I ate the cheese fries which were not bad just a little on the drier side. My wife ordered a strawberry basil lemonade which is normally non alcohol in it but Becky asked if she wanted it spiked with vodka and she delivered which tasted great. Wife ordered the twisted chicken Mac and cheese which was cooked perfectly and the chicken was on point. Aside from messing up the meats the menu was the same as other hard rock cafes but the service was the best part...

Since I have been in Japan, I have begun my Hard Rock Cafe journey and this is my third Hard Rock I have had the opportunity to visit. I will say, by far, this has been the Hard Rock that I’ve imagine it would be. It is in the heart of Universal. I knew that when i saw there was a line at the entrance, it was a hot spot for the area. Actually, a time that I didn’t mind waiting in line. Then when I got to the front of the line, I was informed that I did not need to wait in the line if I wanted to sit at the bar. I felt like dumbo, but at least you will know after reading this review that you do not have to wait in line if you are going to the bar or just want to walk in to see the place. It is like a mini museum in there with plenty to look at.

When I arrived at the bar, I was greeted by a great bartender. Seemed like a well-experienced bar tender. I say that because the bar was packed and they were still able to manage to keep all the patrons satisfied. In a sense that he would attend to everyone to ensure they had what they needed. Also, I ordered a Long Island Ice Tea and it was quite impressive. I knew if I had too many of those, I wouldn’t be able to find my way back to the hotel. There are multiple levels of memorabilia to view, multiple bars, and a live atmosphere. I was able to spend a lot of time in there. Plus, they play some pretty good tunes in the establishment. So there is plenty of items within the establishment to keep you occupied and discuss while you wait.

There are a variety of food items on the menu to choose from. Whether you want an appetizer, small meal, large meal, or dessert, I am sure they have what you want. My experience at this Hard Rock was wonderful and worth the visit. I hope that you are able to visit and have the same satisfying experience I was able to have.
