Ate here on September 14,2023 and had Becky as our waitress. I’ll say to start the review Becky was the reason the hard rock got 4 stars from me because it would be less for sure. Becky was a solid 5/5 stars she was attentive very friendly and even catered to our custom request while still tending quite a few other tables that woman did not stop moving but she had the biggest smile on her face with positivity and hospitality. Now to the food, this is where the review breaks down for a minute because I ordered the smokehouse bbq combo and got a plate of half rack of baby back ribs and pork. The plate originally comes with fries and coleslaw but I requested mashed potatoes and the kitchen messed up and gave me loaded cheese fries. The ribs while tender and moist the flavor was beyond overwhelmed by the yellow mustard. When I took my first bite it was a mouthful of mustard and I understand the binder is mustard but dang that was something else. In other portions of the ribs I got to taste their bbq sauce but it was once again followed by a mouth full of mustard. I then moved onto the pulled pork and the meat was tender and juicy but I’m not sure what they did in the kitchen but the base mustard was so powerful it off set the bbq and all the other flavors. Now I did eat all my food as we had a 14 hour day in universal studios and I was exhausted but I will definitely have to give this Hard Rock Cafe location another try on the meats because it definitely wasn’t where it’s suppose to be in the flavor department. I ate the cheese fries which were not bad just a little on the drier side. My wife ordered a strawberry basil lemonade which is normally non alcohol in it but Becky asked if she wanted it spiked with vodka and she delivered which tasted great. Wife ordered the twisted chicken Mac and cheese which was cooked perfectly and the chicken was on point. Aside from messing up the meats the menu was the same as other hard rock cafes but the service was the best part thank you Becky.

Since I have been in Japan, I have begun my Hard Rock Cafe journey and this is my third Hard Rock I have had the opportunity to visit. I will say, by far, this has been the Hard Rock that I’ve imagine it would be. It is in the heart of Universal. I knew that when i saw there was a line at the entrance, it was a hot spot for the area. Actually, a time that I didn’t mind waiting in line. Then when I got to the front of the line, I was informed that I did not need to wait in the line if I wanted to sit at the bar. I felt like dumbo, but at least you will know after reading this review that you do not have to wait in line if you are going to the bar or just want to walk in to see the place. It is like a mini museum in there with plenty to look at. When I arrived at the bar, I was greeted by a great bartender. Seemed like a well-experienced bar tender. I say that because the bar was packed and they were still able to manage to keep all the patrons satisfied. In a sense that he would attend to everyone to ensure they had what they needed. Also, I ordered a Long Island Ice Tea and it was quite impressive. I knew if I had too many of those, I wouldn’t be able to find my way back to the hotel. There are multiple levels of memorabilia to view, multiple bars, and a live atmosphere. I was able to spend a lot of time in there. Plus, they play some pretty good tunes in the establishment. So there is plenty of items within the establishment to keep you occupied and discuss while you wait. There are a variety of food items on the menu to choose from. Whether you want an appetizer, small meal, large meal, or dessert, I am sure they have what you want. My experience at this Hard Rock was wonderful and worth the visit. I hope that you are able to visit and have the same satisfying experience I was able to have. Also, I hope that you found this review helpful. May you enjoy your adventure in Orlando!

I’ve been to almost every HRC all over the world, it’s one of my favourite places in the world for the combination of music, ambiance and the food. Our family of 8 had a great time and great service by Potter, we enjoyed nachos and flat breads as appetizers and then we all enjoyed burgers and sandwiches. Everything was absolutely delicious. I ordered the diablo smash burger and initially I thought it was small but then I was so full I couldn’t almost finish it. Please do yourself a favour and get the upgraded cheese fries, that was a total treat! One small note for the management. We spent around $700 at the souvenir shop (8 people, one hoodie each plus drum sticks, drink cup, t-shirt, dog tags, etc), then we spent another $300 at dinner. You have a very nice idea of taking a picture of each table before guest are seated and then you bring it to the table printed in different formats, but it is for purchase. At that point I didn’t feel like dropping more money so I declined the purchase option. Since you already out the effort of printing the set, I wonder how many of those nice sets go into the garbage because of declined purchases? Ours went into the garbage, but my question is: in this world where hospitality rules, wouldn’t it be better to give this to a family that just spent $1000 rather than tossing the unpurchased pics in the garbage? I bet you this would go a long way and would give the family such a wonderful memory that would leave them longing to go back! That’s my feedback but other than that, thanks for the amazing experience!

March 22, 2025. Well, we waited ftom 10:30pm until after midnight when the food finally reached our table. It had been a long, tiring day & I thought "well we cant go wrong with Hard Rock Cafe"...only to be totally let down. Grilled Salmon was UNcooked & all pink inside. Lucky my daughter told me to cut into it first. I did not eat it. Did the Chef get fired & the dishwasher pull the salmon out of the 80° cooler?? The string beans were hard as rock candy, not even cooked. Our waitress, albeit on the last stretch of a busy shift, seemed drunk or something, tried being nice but still didn't seem to care we waited over an hour till noticing we had no food yet. We were so patient & polite throughout this terrible time. THIS WAS HORRIBLE!!! Needs new Chefs, Managers, etc to bring this place up to decent. Made our long day just worse. What a shame. Lucky I didn't take a big bite of that raw salmon or I would've definitely got food poison & salmonella. I've had great experiences at plenty of locations across the country, but NOT THIS PLACE. WARNING: DO NOT EAT HERE. Valerie, our server, tried being nice, but after well over an hour & still no food?? Redic! After I gave her my raw salmon plate back & told her I was over it & this was UNcooked, she had the nerve to bring me another plate of the same (but only took 5min). Do you honestly think I'd actually eat that, after what we just went through. I told her to take it away. Obviously I did not pay for the meal. Plus my daughter's Chicken MacnCheese was more like fake Velveeta. Bland & distasteful.

I went with my family on vacation. I have chased all over the globe for hard rock because I love them. First, know this it’s right outside the universal park gate so you have to park and walk inside security and about 20 mins once you park to get in. Once we got there, our waitress took a bit to come over and the restaurant was so HOT. Felt like no ac. Our server seemed like she had somewhere better to be. She’d drop our drinks and immediately walk off before we could ask her anything. I went for my fav dish- twisted Mac. And when the food came out, my chicken was completely pink. I kept waiting for our waiter to come back and finally had to flag someone down to get her. All she did was scrape the chicken off my pasta and have it recooked. Super unsafe since the raw chicken touched my pasta and it had been sitting about 16 mins so it was also cold. Couldn’t even tell her about it because she walked off so fast. Then we got dessert and the ice cream was completely melted because it had sat for too long. I asked for manager help and no one came. I did email them after and they offered to give me a free meal if I came back in but I was leaving the next day as I was on vacation. I love hard rock and this was a super disappointing experience. I spent $143 on two meals, three sodas, a desert, and souvenir photos. Super expensive to not be treated right or compensated a bit for it.

My visit to the Hard Rock Cafe at Universal Orlando was an absolute blast. From the moment I walked in, I was surrounded by a vibrant rock ‘n’ roll atmosphere that perfectly matched the excitement of Universal. The decor is filled with iconic music memorabilia, making it a paradise for any music lover. It was like stepping into a living museum of rock history, with guitars, outfits, and artifacts from legendary artists everywhere you look. The food was just as impressive as the ambiance. I went with the classic Legendary Burger, and it did not disappoint—it was juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The menu had plenty of options, from hearty meals to lighter bites, so there was something for everyone. I also had one of their signature cocktails, which was a fun way to add to the experience. What really stood out was the energy in the place. The staff was friendly and fun, and the live music created a great vibe that made the whole meal feel like a party. Even though it was busy, the service was quick and attentive, and I never felt rushed. Overall, the Hard Rock Cafe at Universal Orlando is a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy great food in a lively, rock-themed setting. It’s the perfect way to end a day of adventure at Universal, and I’d definitely go back next time I’m in the area!
