Originals Mall of Antiques — Attraction in Oshkosh

I was SO excited to go check out the Originals Malls, but was extremely disappointed as soon as I walked through the doors. On the outside it appears a lot larger than it actually is. Despite that being out of their control the vendors is what really made me not like my experience. Ive walked through TONS of antique malls and thrift stores on a regular basis, but this place felt like more of place for other stores to sell their stuff than actual collectors. About half the vendors were boutiques and stores who were selling their overpriced NEW items that look "antique" with a few antiques to go with it. If I wanted to go to their boutique or shop I would. I hate to be harsh, but it drives me nuts. There are SO many other Antique Malls in the area where the vendors are TRUE collectors selling their finds, not boutiques taking up real estate. Ive was told in summer the outside space is great, and I will try it once more in summer (currently winter), but as of right now I have no intention of coming...

I bought a GI Joe collectable from this mall. While packaging it, the staff member broke a piece off of it. It wasn't discovered until it was brought home. I called the mall to convey my disappointment and to see what could be done, the owner took no responsibility for his employees negligence and went as far as to place the blame on my girlfriend who I might add is the most honest person I know and would have told me if she broke it. All I asked for, was acknowledgment that the possibility existed that the employee could have broke it and I received nothing, not even a call back. I personally quite enjoy this antique mall. Lots of cool stuff and finds. There are 4 main coin dealers and a 5th booth has some coin options but horribly overpriced. (150%-200%) of retail. For example their silver is about 40-50x face which is highway robbery. There's only 2 other coin booths worth looking at for value VS what you get. Vendor up front in small glass case with tons of silver etc has fair pricing on almost everything. And the vendor AK has 2 booths with overall reasonable pricing on coins.
