Every year for the last 7 years I have taken my son to get his picture taken with Santa. I have 6 hand puppets of various Christmas characters, one for every year but this year after much anticipation in finding out this years addition to our puppet collection and we were presented with 3 gold coins in a bag (they were not chocolate) in a little purple bag.Unable to bury my curiousity I asked about the puppets that I had started collecting traditionally but much to my dismay I was informed they no longer gave them out. Hiding my disappointment I kindly walked away when I noticed the tag attached to this little purple bag filled with gold plastic coins. The tag explained that you could visit the "Kidz Korner" for a special prize. Let me tell you, I wish that I had childhood memories in this cute little shop. In the corner a table with a cupful of candycane pens and stationary for your child to write a letter to Santa. Back to these 3 little coins.. my son got to personally pick 3 items in this store,baskets of all types of goodies from potpourri to lotions, magnets and handmade soaps. He picked his 3 items and paid with his coins and went home and wrapped them with delight. The joy in my son's eyes on Christmas morning when he got to give his presents out is by far better than any hand puppet they could have given. If you are a local or just passing through Santa at The Gardens Mall is definitely a memory...

Ultra posh, sophisticated, and boasting major glam!

From the soaring glass ceilings and the numerous well placed escalators, to the glass elevator with its front row view of its grand water feature, this shopping mall demands your undivided attention.

Brands range from the classic Macy's and Sears all the way up to the opulent Saks Fifth Avenue, and Louis Vuitton with a plethora of other shops in between.

One thing I didn't find here? Kiosk stores. Let's face it though, this only adds to the pleasantries of shopping here.

The building is immaculate and very limited number of stores are vacant, a sign of a thriving mall.There are plenty of areas to take a break from all the hustle and most of them come with their own second floor views!

There is no shortage of places to go and stores to visit. The layout is very spacious and provided adequate breathing room for its many occupants. Very rarely did I get caught up amongst a large number of people unless I was in the food court.

Speaking of food, while they do have a vast selection of restaurants to choose from in the food court, I would have expected more from this resplendent of a mall.

Overall, I am very satisfied this galleria is located such a short distance from my home. Before I moved here, malls like this were a figment of my imagination.

I will most definitely be back to this location...
