Rude, Unprofessional and NOT a good massage. Iâve had dozens of Thai Massages and after reading the positive reviews I decided to book. This was the worst one Iâve ever had. It was not a Thai âcomboâ Massage (other than 2 minutes of bad stretching). I specifically asked for firmer pressure and instead basically had oil rubbed on my body without any beneficial massage technique. One of the stretches she actually grabbed my kneecap and yanked it to pull my entire leg into a âstretchâ which also caused me more pain than when I came in.
A sign near the treatment door indicates if you arenât happy within 10 min of the treatment you can ask for another therapist. She only gave me decent pressure for the first 15 min then the remainder of that 90 minutes was not even close to a good massage. Found that interesting. There was no walking on the back (when this was discussed with the receptionist prior).
I was so disappointed that I didnât include a generous tip and felt I had already overpaid for this terrible service. The lady had the audacity to give me ATTITUDE about the amount my gratuity and questioned me twice. It CLEARLY STATES ON THE WEBSITE that gratuity is appreciated but not mandatory. I told the woman I did not enjoy the massage and it was not what I asked for.
The therapists are intentionally the ones who process your payment and will put the pressure on you to tip minimum 20%, which tells me that they probably arenât paid a fare wage to begin with. If the name starts with a G, steer clear.
Really unfortunate to have had this experience. Iâm sure there are good therapists there, but that was not the a...
Read moreWorst massage Iâve ever gotten. I came in for back pain, but the guy spent most of his time massaging my butt with fingers often âaccidentallyâ going into my crack. He pulled the sheet off my butt, walked out of the room and looked in. I pulled the sheet back up. He pulled it down. It was so uncomfortable.
He just went up and down caressing my body with his hand. He didnât really do any âmassagingâ of muscles. It wasnât clear he knew where muscles were in a body. He certainly wasnât bothered to go find any muscles. Is he even trained as a masseuse? It didnât seem like he knew anything about the human body.
I should have left after the first 10 minutes but kept hoping he would start the massage.
Then he stood on my legs and made me do these stretches that felt like he wasnât massaging or stretching me, but just injuring me. He didnât speak English so I couldnât communicate with him.
When I left, I paid the $80 and didnât give a tip (first time in my life) but they wouldnât let me leave until I gave a tip. I told them it was a very bad massage and I wasnât happy. They said they didnât understand and wouldnât let me go until I gave my credit card and to give a tip.
It was a terrible experience. And the worst part is my back where the pain was feels like it got injured during...
Read moreMy friend and I had a couples massage at paradise Thai spa and it wasnât a really good experience. My friend wasnât asked for the pressure or if she was feeling comfortable at any time. My massage therapist was constantly lying on my head while she was massaging my back. She used her elbows most of the time which wasnât feeling too good. I had to tell her multiple times I wasnât feeling comfortable. The smell in the room and on the sheets wasnât good, not bad but just not very fresh. It was clean though. The final straw was when we wanted to pay and payed card, everyone watched- 3 people- and the lady touched me by the arm and indicated that my tip was too less and showed me a sign in the wall suggesting the ârightâ amount of tip for the time we spent there. I was really taken aback that was such an uncomfortable feeling. I asked two times if tips were mandatory to which no one seemed to have an answer. We just tipped then what was considered the right amount of money but left with a bitter taste which was not what we were hoping for, going for a...
