Overall really nice and kind people and cool products around!
Horrible experience at Beauty Avenue in the Shoppes at Mandalay Bay. Today, I was invited in by a staff member. I began to look at items and considering items for less than 5 mins around 4PM on March 6th and was approached by a man (maybe the owner? named Martin per the man - photo attached) and told, without asking, that I wouldn’t find anything I wanted there. I was then approached less than one minute later by the manager and told to leave since I was not buying anything. I was sober, respectful, and was going to purchase two lipsticks and a lip liner along with powders. I returned to inform them that I felt very disrespected and was told to complain if I want and that nothing would happen. Hope everyone has a nice day except Martin &...
Read moreA very diverse collection of items, ranging from migraine medication to suitcases for people who bought too many souvenirs for friends and family back home. I had to purchase both the migraine meds and the suitcase (too many souvenirs for friends and family to fit into my 1 small bag). My only issue is the high cost. However, the women I spoke to in the shops were very personable and friendly, even after working long hours with a lot of people coming through. The numbers of people they have to deal with on a daily basis would put most people into a somewhat disagreeable, if not a downright foul, mood. But they were so friendly and helpful I was impressed. They made the fact that I had a migraine, and bought too many t-shirts, far more bearable. For that I...

The place is worth a visit, without doubt. It is big and it is styled as if it was an ancient Italian city, complete with blue skies as ceiling, little bridges, canals etc.
What I don’t get is why they have to dim the light in the place so much. Thee atmosphere inside was a little like doomsday, or as if you were in a never ending sunset. This is cute for about ten minutes, after that it started to go on my nerves and make me depressed, especially thinking of all the poor people who have to work in this sinister atmosphere all day, day in and day out.
So, I would say, plan a visit, make sure though that you are always aware of the fastest way back out into the awesome sunlight of this marvelous...
