TLDR; Sea breeze cafe had good food with top tier service, but is a bit on the expensive side.
We ordered the Caesar Salad with Salmon and the Cheese burger. We honestly weren’t expecting too much, but it really exceeded our expectations. The Salmon add on (extra 11 dollars) was a good portion and cooked pretty well. The salad, burger, and fries were very good.
The service was also very friendly! They checked up on us frequently as well.
Main con would be that it was a bit pricey (which is expected with food in a hotel / casino). The bill came out to be about 60 dollars.
We ate here twice because it was covered under the Amex Hotels 30 dollar a day credit (at Delano confirmed with concierge to be eligible). If you have that credit, I would highly recommend using it here since I would rate the food as better than Dellas Kitchen.
The hours are also a bit better than those of Della’s since it’s open on weekdays and has nice window views.
Overall, very good experience with food and very friendly / fast service. Price wise, It’s especially worth if you have the Amex Breakfast credit. If not, it’s still nice for the convenience, but is a bit on the expensive side.
For Value: 4.5 stars if you have the Amex breakfast credit 3 stars without
For Food: 4/5 Service: 5/5
I would give Seabreeze about a 4.2 overall rating. Rating 5 stars because the existing rating is...
Read moreWe were set right away at a very nice table by the windows are Server was nice and told her us she’d be with us in a moment she was taking out some food. The second server brought us water and coffee. We ordered a omelette and eggs Benedict I asked for my eggs to be poached to medium well where the egg yolk ascent but not hard. What are food came out my food was not hot eggs Benedict was cool English muffin was not grilled my eggs were poached easy the egg yolks were jelly like, I could not eat it. the hashbrowns were from the day before warmed up they were hard and cold. I called my Server over and showed her what my problems were told her just to throw my plate in the microwave for a minute, she said they could not do that and they brought me a new order out where the eggs were cooked properly and it was served on a hot plate so it was hot. Very nice atmosphere and the server made it right I don’t know why places want to use food product for the day before for the first customers that come in the door the next day you should throw out those hashbrowns and start with fresh...
Read moreI read lots of reviews and was in two minds as to whether to come here for breakfast, or not. We made the wrong decision by coming. The place was nice and clean, vast with plenty of seating but the window seats are few so the views aren’t great from most tables. The staff were pleasant, quick and coffee refills came quickly, but the breakfast meals were underwhelming considering the price. Most of us had some form of add-on for the omelette, American breakfast and the French toast. Even with add-ons, the plates weren’t particularly full. The port sausages were a cheap and nasty version, the breakfast potatoes were a little underdone and the toast was too sweet so most of that got left to waste unfortunately. The French toast was a little soggy too and the fruit add-on were just a few scattered berries. I was expecting more at the Mandalay to be honest, I’d rather have eaten anywhere else by the end and it wasn’t a great start to the day. Next time we’ll head up to NY or another place as I wouldn’t return based on...
